Tell us what you are doing these days; by now you've had an opportunity to attain you graduate degree and many have started teaching. What an exceptional young percussionist you were, I know you had a wonderful percussion instructor. Hope you're doing well.
Well I got my undergrad at Boston Conservatory and spent the next three years freelancing in the city. A lot of musical productions, some community ensembles, and a handful of recording since. I’ve recently moved to Jersey City to plug into the Broadway scene whenever it happens to return! Thanks for the comment, and sorry for my delay! If you’d ever like to follow more closely, check out my website at www.austinbirdy.com for more video and some various records.
+DashBoardMaster I got to choose for the most part, they just specified the style of pieces for which instruments. Like a 2 and 4 mallet solo, a rudimental and orchestral solo, etc.
Good audition and nice instruments ;)
Give a child a mallet/knob/sticks and the world becomes a drum. Good choice of pieces to demonstrate technique.
Yo...nice job. Beautiful instruments too
