  • Full walk throuhg starts at 40 seconds! We just got back from our stay at the Coconut Bay beach resort in St Lucia. In this video we give you a full tour and review of this all inclusive beach front resort. We loved that the resort hired local people as staff and it really made it feel like home. Marvious, Marz and the entire entertainment crew really made this a vacation to remember.

    I went there in 2006, was the best holiday I've ever had, my parents are still friends with some off the staff that work there still now. If we could go bac, we would in a heartbeat!

    Loved this review and was especially interested in your gluten free experience. I have 2 celiacs in my family. Anything else you can share about the dining experience aside from Seaside not having many GF options?

    • @b.e.adventurers
      @b.e.adventurers  Před rokem

      Glad to help! I wish we had done more gluten free info at the time, but trying to remember back. I believe that most of the options were just a non breaded thing, so a burger without a bun. I don't remember if they were willing to make fries separately (its eating actual wheat that bugs us the most so we didn't ask about fries). I think it would be worth calling them and asking, celiac is much more serious then we are and I wouldn't want to steer you into an unpleasant vacation. Sorry to not be much help!

    What do you have to pay for, as I have heard some positives on this being a premium all inclusive, however were all restaurants included, or do you pay for a supplement and of cause the spa treatments?

    • @b.e.adventurers
      @b.e.adventurers  Před 2 lety

      The spa treatments are an optional extra fee, and the restaurant we show on the water is not included. Other then that drinks, most restaurants and everything else is included.

      Hello! My wife and I are going there very soon! I hear that there is not a lot of bars that have premium liquor? Is this true and do they have domestic beer such as Bud Light, Heineken Light and so on?

      @@captnsafety8294 Hi Tim, to be honest we are not the right people to ask about premium liquor, we were very satisfied with what the bars did have, and there is also a liquor store on the property (upstairs lobby) I do believe they had Domestic beer, but their beach drinks were amazing and we stuck to them. may I suggest a to much sun from the beach bar 😀 Get ready for a nice relaxing vacation!

    Hello I’m going on a honeymoon there in the serenity side of the resort. I want to know how you guys did the excursion. Are they going to be scheduling everything from ATvs tour to Zipling in the northern side of the island? I want to also go in the local market to experience the local foods. Will they be taking us? How can we go about booking excursions? Should I book ahead of time?

    • @b.e.adventurers
      @b.e.adventurers  Před 2 lety

      Congrats! We booked our excursion through the excursions desk in the lobby of the resort. They planned everything for the excursion, all we had to do was get in the van. You are able to call a cab from the resort to take you into town if you'd like. We had good luck booking once we were at the resort but I don't know if that's always the case.

    Hi, I’m going to coconut bay in December. How much tip did you give extra to staff? And was it at the end of your stay that you tipped?

    • @b.e.adventurers
      @b.e.adventurers  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Super jealous! It's been a little while so I don't remember exactly what we did, but we did start a tradition on this trip to choose one staff member that made our trip excellent and give them a higher tip. Sorry not much help here...

    How do you make reservations 48 hours in advance? Can you call and schedule reservations before your trip?

    • @b.e.adventurers
      @b.e.adventurers  Před 2 lety

      You are asking about restaurant reservations correct? We didn't realize it before we were at the resort, so maybe, but we just went to that desk in the morning and they set us up. If calling before you arrive I believe their 48hr policy would apply so you'd have to call day of arrival and such.
