You are welcome. I was happy with how it turned out
I love kimchi (top) with textured turquoise (bottom) with no or very little overlap. Love. watching your kiln openings. -Liana
I have seen other potter’s tests with different clears over pigments and underglazes and 2167 was the best, no bubbling no changing of the colors, etc.
Thank you for the slow cooling program. It will help me a lot
No problem! Good luck!
Beautiful pieces, as always, Lisa!
Thank you!
Fab as usual, Lisa! Amanda @redeft is one of my faves, too! I also bought the S. Twilight. I really like it! Great creations. Ribbitt! 🐸
Thanks Audrey!
Great kiln load!! 🤩🙌🏻 I just made some pieces with the same heart transfer! It’s in the kiln now! Interestingly enough I have Twilight but never thought of using it on its own! I’ve always layered it. Thanks for that!! With the Purple Haze mug i used 2x coats of the Amaryllis followed by 2 coats of Flux Blossom. Same with the Frosted lemon test. 😊
Awe thanks! Makes sense why mine did not look like yours. Stay warm!
Amanda from red eft is awesome. Lovely work Lisa and I have to bring myself to throw some dark clay! Love the sangria on the dark clay body.....
Yes it is amazing how it pops!
@cpnotill9264 ❤
So glad to see you’re kiln opening. I’m going through withdrawal as well! I absolutely love the matchstick vases! What a cool idea!! For the blue mugs with the logo have your tired to use the cobalt wash from mayco? I’ve used overglaze decals for years ans years. I’ve never had one that was still. If you use warm water it may help to make them bend more easily but it will also help them to come off the backing a lot easier as well. That road house is soo cool!!
So awesome of you to mention the other potters channels. I handbuild and slipcast so I find red EFT videos soo very helpful and fun. I’ll be sure to look up the other potters channel you mentioned.
Michele thank you as always for your helpful comments. I have the overglaze decals in the kiln atm. Fingers crossed. What brand of decals do you like to use? Have you had good experiences with the golds?
@@finklepottery704 I usually use vintage decals. The gold ones are stunning for sure. Just be sure to clean your pot with alcohol so there aren’t fingerprints oils on the piece. That will make the decal not adhere correctly and some of it will burn off. The gold decals are the same to fire just much more expensive. Lol
Great kiln unload, loved everything, particularly the colours on the utensil holder. Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much!
What a fun load. Great way to start 2024
Thanks!
Thanks for the shoutout Lisa! So many pretty combos in this batch!
I like the amaryllis over frosted lemon its very bee-ish!
I think I have done more kiln openings this past month than ever before! But probably cannot keep that pace up 😂 although i do have at least one more in me before this baby arrives🎉
Can't wait to see all your new garden pieces too💚
Amanda I’m so amazed with how chill you sound. Kids in the background, the occasional cat scrap 😂 and now a baby on the way. Love your pottery and your openings. Best of luck with new baby.
I love seeing your kiln openings!

Love watching your videos. We’re having issues with our clear at our community club. Hazy, milky. Would you be willing to share your recipe for the mixing clear you use?
Hi. At the moment I am just using Amaco mixing clear. I hear of so many people struggling with clear. So far this has worked well. I make sure ionlyusetwo thin coats
