- This was the first time I ever knew there were Japanese Idols that SCREAMED their asses off. This was insane, and opened a bunch of new doors for me... so it's finally time to put it on YT. I've still only heard 2 tracks from them so I'm hoping there are some fans here that can tell me what to check out next!

BBTS is an absurdly underrated metal group from Japan. Not a whole lot of international fans have picked them up. I know for a fact that many people do not believe they are actually doing the growling/screaming. One look at them playing live at a music festival, I can safely say it is real. I came across this band totally by accident and they blew me out of my sox! I pretty much only listed to Japanese metal and mostly female bands. I just discovered a band out of Japan that I like female vocalist doing the cleans and a guy doing the growls/harsh you might want to check them out The Undead Corporation! I do not know a lot about them except their drummer is from Unlucky Morpheus.
2 albums full nuts, fullf genius and pure fun tho it can be a bit much at times XD
They have the new single out. Its the most complex song to date, so you def need to check it out.

Not sure if this is an old video and my reply might be outdated? If you're new to this kind of metal idols, I would like to also recommend PassCode, miscast aka MAZE, Shingeki (神使轟く、激情の如く。), 8bitBRAIN and Kaqriyoterror. Most of them sound a little more electronic than BBTS, but I got used to that pretty quickly. As for Broken By The Scream, my favourite song is Ki . RA . I which is on youtube as a live version. 感情クロスカウンター (Emotional Cross Counter) and 逆転の鐘は鳴る (The Reversal Bell Rings) are amazing as well, as most of their songs.
This is old yea... but I've still only heard Passcode from that list... but I've heard like ALL of Passcode now lol reactions will be coming.
I remember not caring for BBTS very much when I first heard them...but as time wnet by and I grew accustomed to the sytle...love 'em...actually prefer them over Passcode (like them as well)...I love the band...and the vocals are nuts...great stuff...check out some of their lives...
Yeah, I had a similar experience. I wasn't quite sure what to make of them at first, but I grew to love them. I also prefer them over Passcode. Not that Passcode isn't any good or anything, but I just really enjoy Kagura and Io's very different vocals and the versatility that they bring.
Deathcore kawaii
Weirdly enough, they actually have a decent variety to their music. A couple of my favorite songs of theirs are Takaramono and Mugen Heartbeat. Takaramono shows a much softer side to them, and Mugen Heartbeat is a bop lol
BBTS are an idol group with the ZOMBIE BAND backing them from time to time (although guitarist Electro Sonar composes the music and plays/programs everything on their albums)! Electro and the drummer VAVA are from a band called Kiba of Akiba (who did a split single CD with BABYMETAL awhile back)! Shishoh is the bass player and he fucking rocks live! The girls are: Ioren "Io" Nozukidaira (low growls), Kagura (high screams), Ayame and Yae (clean vocals)... Newer videos have Tsubaki who replaced Yae not long ago! They kick ass! And Io is a cool friend of mine on Twitter!
