  • Reting valley is located in Central Tibet Autonomous Region. The most popular destination in Reting valley is The Reting Monastery. Reting monastery was founded in 1054 after Atisha passed away. Scholar Dumdhompa founded the main temple, in around 1055-1056.

    Thank you for giving us a window into your culture. We do not get much news of present day Tibet here in the West. I lived in Nepal for 6 months for a college program in Bodha near the Stupa in Kathmandu in 1985 and saw many Tibetan refugees arriving there directly from Tibet. I have been interested in your culture and religion ever since. Peace to you

    I liked the personal reflection that you added in the end of the video. Maybe u could also add what you perceive with other senses- what does the air feel like, daydreams, sounds that u can hear, textures etc

    Interesting video. Would be good to hear more of what you felt after sky burial site visit or ancient sites of great masters.
