This has GOT to be the creepiest Scarecrow look since Batman: Arkham Knight

I've got a design that has him look like a makeshift scarecrow from an old abandoned barn, with a burlap mask held by a noose, and a zipper on his mouth that releases fear toxin that is pumped into his mask. He wears a hat that has been eaten away with holes, but his eyes remain hidden from view in the shadows. He also weilds a rusty scythe, and is accompanied by a crow and two plague doctor minions...
He looks like a voodoo or witch dr or something. It's pretty cool
I always find the new Batman adventure scarecrow very scary

I love how Scarecrow's look keeps changing, I feel like it represents his evolution as a character and his own developments and improvements in his methods and fear toxins.
I feel like it's a part of his character now, like since his costumes are always like rags and stuff that hes always improving,
I mean, almost all of the Batman villains except for Joker, have gotten massive changes made to thier design over time like, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison ivy, etc

The way I see it, Scarecrow likes to change out his wardrobe to hit different phobias when he can.
As if Scarecrow wasn't already terrifying enough before, him gaining new powers just turned that *horror meter* wayyyyyyyyy up!!!!

Damnn... the art for Harley and Barbara here is soooo good.
I absolutely love Tynion and Jimenez, so seeing them do amazing work on Batman is just on par for them.
And a new character called "the Gardener"?! She could become a Rival to Poison Ivy.

I actually think that after Ivy’s “death” due to her plant powers she was reborn as the gardener.
Think she might actually be one of Ivy’s plant people spawn she tends to make.
Dude batman and ghostmaker making friendly bets after they finish the job is so cute. Really happy to see bruce have his friend back (hopefully it lasts for a decent amount of time)

I like how Batman has a new buddy with Ghostmaker.
I love seeing my boy Scarecrow back at it again. Honestly one of the most underrated Batman villains. But ngl Ghost-Maker and Batman's dynamic is also really good imo like i love how of a "friendly" rivalry they have. Definitely not what i expected for Ghost-Maker but i really like it so far.

I don't know what to say about the new scarecrow design, but I like his portrayal and I hope that he is the one in control in this team up.
Yeah, visually he reminds me too much of an anteater for me to take him seriously. I'm glad that these writers seem to have an idea of what to do with him though. Not much has been done with Jonathan in the comics as of late.
The Gardener.... how imaginative. Would have liked her to be a return of one of Poison Ivy's daughters instead.
Also I like that slight stab Batman did with Montoya, as the word *question* was highlighted.
Ooooh those back branches look friggin epic! The hat and poncho? Styling! And that mask is trippy to look at. This is turning out to be a really interesting story so far. It has a lot of traits to a scarecrow story I enjoy, in which crane actually still acts like a professor in how he ‘teaches’ people, and doesn’t rely too much on the toxins and more on mind games.
Jorge Jimenez art is amazing! Definitely my favorite! Variant Comics is 🔥! Great work consistently!

And to all you doubters Scarecrow is a Tier I villain now. I know a little inside info. On where his story is going and they are elevating this rogue to A list instead of B+ list. I love Scarecrow and he has had great representation in the last 15 years. He will kill a major player...... Tick tock tick tock!! Scarecrow is more advanced in physical abilities too. He knows karate and is very savvy with weapons.
