N.E.S.T. is a great support weapon! You're supporting your teammates by creating a flashy distraction, and you're supporting the enemy team by giving them a quick dopamine hit to encourage them to keep playing! It's a small sacrifice for robo-kind, but good for the population of the game!
As much of a meme as it is, the core of that is still true. A good Javelin speeding around behind enemy vehicles is a very nice and flashy distraction despite the DPS being terrible NEST does do ~1620 damage if you dump it in the rear of a tank, hard to make use of solo but enough to make a difference in a group. Javelin has been in need of buffs for a long long long time though, both for weapons and the vehicle itself. Depending on what chassis are being used its like the 2nd or 3rd SLOWEST vehicle in the entire game despite being a massive jet-engine someone put a seat and strapped a gun on and 0 armor to the point it even takes damage from AoE explosives, HESH tanks missing you is almost as bad as being hit directly 💀 And yeeeees I am one of the insane ones who auraxiumed all of the Javelin weapons so this basically makes my opinion invalid as I should be locked up in a asylum.

This weapon is actually great for dropping your K/D so when you switch to sweat heavy and go 11:1 by farming chokepoints at center bases people won't go to your profile and assume you're hacking right away. Great misdirection.
As a NS operative. one always ponders how on earth it is even possible to auraxium the non salamander weapons, and now I have seen the second worst one. And I still do not understand. Still remember one desperate top players was trying to aurax the NEST ... by using it as a anti personnel weapon, running up behind people and shoving it in their back. It is theoretically possible to do in one mag, but the dancing he would do when one missed was an achievement.
Javelin AV weapons were the only weapons i padded and i don't feel bad at all. I auraxed the other javelin guns like 4 times so i still feel accomplished.

@@chinoYochino If you want to see how truly cursed things are with the Javelin I have two old videos showcasing the stupid aim assist that the Javelin has and how it completely breaks if the target you are aiming at is "too close". For minimal exposure to the insanity I would recommend "Javelin Strangeness" and skip to 1 minute 10 seconds to see it in action in the VR. And hopefully its painfully obvious that my channel is mainly my own personal storage and occasional funny thing I wanted to share to someone at some point in time(or bug report), I am not looking for 'exposure' with how the last upload was like 2 years ago. I just think you would find it funny how cursed it is.
@@TheHuffur It looks like projectiles just shoots from each side but it is weird I can see both of the burst coming from only one side on celeste on occasion. I still don't understand how it is possible that wrel let this abomination come out of the test server

Honestly double it's range it can lock on at and you can do some cheeky lowground BS while making it the 'shoot while focusing on dodging' design. Still piss but the undodgable poking is seemingly it's only positive, tank hunting groups would be fun more then theoretically.
