Spring 1815:
Napoleon Bonaparte fled from Elba to Paris. There
he was solemnly welcomed and became Emperor again.
June 1815:
The coalition is on the way to France.The English and the
Prussians army are already in Netherlands.The Russians and
the Austrians are expected in July.
Napoleon has decided to immediately attack the British and
Prussian troops in Waterloo.
If you haven’t seen Waterloo (1970) do yourself a favor and watch it, it is amazing how well they were able to capture the battle.

I finally found somebody who has seen Waterloo! I love the 1970 waterloo movie. The actors are amazing and it’s just a good movie.
I wonder where the British squares are??? Wellington ordered his troops to retreat to about a yard over the hill. Ney thought the British had fled and lead the calvary charge only to find themselves in a field with lots of British squares. Napoleon was furious at Ney's stupidity.
And when the charge of old guard ruined and guard solders began to flee from the battlefield, Ney wondered himself WHY ARE THE FLEEING?? Honsetly he has a lot of honor but not much intellegence as Napoleon had to rule the big amount of corps on the battlefield... :(
There is a train station in London named Waterloo, after the nearby Waterloo Bridge, which in turn was named to commemorate the British victory at the Battle of Waterloo. It was the London terminal for Eurostar services (to Paris and Brussels) until 2007 (when it moved to St Pancras, and now Eurostar goes to Marseille and Amsterdam as well). One Frenchman actually wrote a letter asking for the station to be renamed, because he thought it was sad for him, as a Frenchman, to be reminded of Napoleon's final defeat as soon as he arrived in London.

Belgium was not created till 1830. It was in the United Netherlands at the time of the battle.

Britain defeated France at Waterloo which made Napoleon be forced into exile but they lost the War of 1812 after trying to take over America. However, they made an apology to the United States so they can defeat Napoleon and his French Army.
It should be named the day before Waterloo: too much time for the scene before and introducing each characters No clear process!

Nepoleon was surely one of the most glorious emperor of france but when power is too much every human being lose thier intelligence lol and in all historic battles I see British winning whatever I dont belong to europe so I dont know much but here in this battle they could not defeat the both

Very true. Brits like to say the world that Waterloo is a British victory when in reality the Prussian saved their asses. Same can be said about the 7 years war which was a coalition of Prussia and Britain against France and Austria.

my country britain is confusing one century allied with germans and against french next century with french against germans
In both case they took the credit for the victory when other countries did the hard work for them.
@@tonyz7216 ik , idk what country you're from , but I'm not personally a patriot , in all honesty i hate my country with a passion , and in the past it pushed around and bullied other countries , stealing land and starving the people and of course taking credit for the efforts of supporting and allied nations.
