Thnaks! I like that you appreciate the full range of styles from Gacharic Spin - its a medley of Tomo-zo songs, so they are in that lighter style as you said - the one in the middle is probably the heaviest if you want to check out for yourself - search for Renai Switch.
They have another medley here you can find under the name Gachanomix and this is a bigger mix of the various styles of the band, though the performance is from 2016 so doesn't feature more recent songs that you've heard.

This Fantasy Medley is exclusively composed of Tomo-Zo’s (the lead guitarist) songs. She have one song per album (with the exception of their latest one “W”). Similar to Miku with BAND-MAID. But Tomo-Zo is not a pigeon, she’s an alien from Nicorin Planet 👽🎸🔥

Their earlier stuff is closer to J-Pop and Idol than you would think, depending on the song obviously and a lot of it still has plenty of guitar work. I haven't heard Poppin' Party myself, but I can see what you are saying from what I have heard about their music from my sister (who has been playing the phone rhythm games for years). I also know some people compare Raise A Suilen a bit to Gacharic Spin as well (I much prefer Gacharic Spin, but that's an other conversation).
Tomo-zo's tracks are typically on the softer side, but she apparently also wrote a good chunk of Mindset and the instrumental she wrote (on yt known as Instrumental, but it's called ニコリン星の通勤ラッシュ -> Rush hour on planet Nikorin), shows very well how technical she can be. As far as dancers go, they used dancers/performers from 2012 or so (after their original vocalist left) to 2018 when Mai left and technically Angie is still a performer, she just got more vocal duties as well. The dancers in this video aren't part of the band, but the first 3 dancers were and they were credited on each release (even studio albums) back then.

I'm sure you also know she did the initial writing for Replica, KKY, Come up Chapter and Rabbit Hole too?

@@homegnome2429 I actually didn't know, but I can't say I am surprised either. I have watched the Rock Fujiyama eps with her and she clearly doesn't only love "cutesy" music and can shred with the best of them. I remember reading that she used to be more of a tomboy (not sure if that's true and if it was just when she was young or in her previous band as well) and that her stage alter ego is basically her playing a character (there is no way that smile is fake though). You can say the same thing about most of the early GS shows actually, Hana had her more cutesy voice as well for example.
But the tracks you named are among my favourites by GS overall, so I can "forgive" her for the overly sweet sounding tunes she created. Because while I don't mind them as much on the albums because they change up the pace, most of them are really not my thing and I sometimes have a hard time getting through them. Kudos to her, she might actually be my favourite GS writter if that's the case (I love her instrumental as well) even though I am not a huge fan of most of the tracks that feature her as a lead vocalist.
