What a legend!!! I am also 15 years old. To me, if I were to win that drum set, it would only put a smile on MY face. But for me to see someone else win that kit, it put a smile on his, and my face too. I love seeing people smile because this is the last thing they would ever expect to be wished upon. I took like an hour writing my entry yet didn't win anything sadly lol.
Ofcourse I hoped to win, but that's not the point. Casey reached over a million subs and it's just unbelieveble how he managed to share so much morivation. I'm sure every drummer reaches a point where he/she's like: nah, I don't feel like drumming. Casey managed me to get out of those situation by teaching me to expand my creativity, work on something untill the point I want to reach. The motivation I get from you and your videos is beyond the ammount I could ever wish for.
They really stopped me from giving up and even got me into multiple bands. So please Casey, never stop what you do: making video's :)

Good on you! Spread the Joy! I was 15 when my parents gave me a Ludwig Smokey Black Vista-Lite set for Christmas. That was 1979 - I still play it today! One of the greatest memories of my life!
I didn't understand how amazed he is at a set of drums, but then I realized how blown awash I would be with my dream guitar and amp set up in my room when I got home

Why am I almost crying at the beginning?
I remember at the age of 10 being lucky enough to wake up to a dw 5000 classic kit and no word of a lie as soon as I unwrapped it (yes my mum was skilled enough to wrap a 7-piece kit) I went upstairs and cried for 10 whole minutes. I adored her from the minute I clapped eyes on her. Gold broken glass and I was fortunate enough to be blessed with such beauty, so I can totally relate to anyone who gets real emotional to the surprise of drums because they are stunning, unique and fabulous. I hope all the fellow drummers had a great Christmas and woke up to multiple pairs of sticks😁👍🏼

BOTH of these guys are such an inspiration. I wish I knew them in person. You cannot surround yourself with enough people like this, and they are becoming more and more difficult to find. I had to sell my kit because I can no longer play due to health reasons, so I live vicariously through guys like you guys. I just lost my dad, and so obviously I have been having a difficult time, but I am glad I found this video. It came at just the right time in my life, when I really needed encouragement. My wife is very loving and encouraging of course, but she is hurting as well over Pop's death. So, thank you to both of you guys.

How come Cooper doesn't play the high end Pearl kits?
Because if he did every video would sound amazing, but not everyone has money to my pearl reference kits, or masterworks. So he plays with cheaper lines like pearl export!

No promises, but I may be opening a drum cover channel very soon! I want this set to be so much more than something sitting in my basement. I want it to continue to entertain generations of drummers. No promises though, I still have to check to see if i have the funds for cameras and such :)

First things first, he'll change that head on the bass drum.
as much as i would have loved to win that amazing kit. The reaction on his face when he got it was priceless. And what all he said is accurate. I use some cheapo ddrum kit and some low end cymbals (but they still sound good) and yes i do want to upgrade, but im fine with what i have now, i could keep going. im just glad to know that the person who got it is going to love and cherish it and not let it collect dust. God bless you, Casey. you truly are an amazing man.

Wow 9 years is a long time! I just bought my 7 year old a pearl set! He will be awesome in 3 years, he’s surrounded by a lot of musicians and all my family and his moms are musician! So I just bought the GoPro 6 and the journey will begain! I will be creating him a page and posting his practice videos!

I wish I had a drum kit like it I have watched so many videos of how to drum I have been practicing on different objects like my bed. You inspire me to play and never give up on your dreams and keep going even if the worst can happen like your sticks snap, don't worry grab some pencils and keep going until you can find a new pair. This was how I was when I was 13 and got a kit for my birthday. Knowing that my parents didn't exactly have the money to it. It was only a junior kit but I couldn't believe I didn't have to practice on a bucket anymore

To the people in the comments, " i didn't get anything". (myself included). Drumming, this campaign, and life in general isn't about the materialistic side of things. Take a step back and really look at it. The message behind this campaign is to inspire, motivate, and influence other drummers, young and old, to be the best they can be. That includes being a good person. I really hope sections of the "application" are made public, so everybody can see all the advice and whatnot. I think i was more excited to have my voice heard than win something in the giveaway. To share with such an influence my story, and to just take part in something great.
