- I recently stayed at the Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth Lakes California. A newly renovated 2 bedroom luxury suite with majestic views of the Sierra Nevada was extra special. This area is known for excellent spring skiing, you can read my full review here - www.suitesandlobbies.com/west...
Next month I will have a review on the Ritz-Carlton Waikiki so subscribe and follow me and my travels.

I use affiliate links when linking to hotels in my description, link lists, and of course my website. If you click on them I may receive a commission. This gets me to the next hotel a bit quicker, thank you!
I thoroughly enjoy travel and hotels, I aim to provide relevant and current information so you can stay in more suites and cross more lobbies.
The Westin is in a great spot for accessing Mammoth mountain skiing. Next month Im back in Hawaii at the Ritz-Carlton Waikiki and will have a full review for you, subscribe and follow along with my travels.
We love Mammoth, best spring skiing every year, thanks for the vid.
I really enjoyed Mammoth as well, great village and the Westin Monache was right in the middle of it.
Going up those stairs after a day of skiing seems dreadful. I wish someone would make a video of just going up the stairs.
The stairs were killer. A mini lift would work 😃
Ever since Westin was built, there has been talk about building a bridge cross the street to the gondola level. The bridge was supposed to be built with the proposed Hyatt Hotel on that empty lot next to Westin. However, due to the 2008 housing crisis, the Hyatt plan was abolished. There is a new Limelight Hotel being built on that lot right now (the pine trees on this video next to Westin are mostly gone at this time). There may be a possibility for the bridge to be built with the new development of this Limelight Hotel and Westin. At this time, one needs to store the skis at the storage ski valet at the bottom of the elevator to the gondola. It is free for Westin guests.
@@seanxie3261 Thanks for the update. A bridge directly across to the gondola level would be excellent. Probably the one thing I hear about most is the dreadful stairs at this hotel. I know what people mean after staying here. I hope the snow comes hard this year.
