In one of the other languages the line where arlecchino asks clervie "do mothers usually argue with their daughters?" She specifies BIOLOGICAL mothers indicating clervie was actually the fourth harbingers biological daughter who was growing up within the orphanage. Which makes the things she says about pruning the flower even more painful to hear

Also.. it´s so subtle it´s no surprise barely anyone is catching it.. but Arlecchino didn´t kill Clervie.. it´s not Arlecchinos sword we see coming out of her back.. it´s her own. Arle´s posture wouldn´t allow for the sword to stab her at that angle and her sword doesn´t have any blood on it afterwards too. So they were probably fighting.. Arle was gonna lose on purpose, but Clervie took her own life instead..
you saying that her sword doesn't has blood didn't convince me because seconds after implies that her wiped out the blood in her so maybe the sword too
Not going to debate whether it was Arlecchino's sword or Clervie's own sword, but I do believe Clervie purposely stabbed herself on either sword. I think that's what Clervie is apologizing for. Also everyone seems to forget when the scene transitions from little Arlecchino's face to that stabbing scene, her face is like shocked & surprised at first, probably because she was not expecting Clervie to do that.

fourth. the previous mother of house of hearth is the fourth harbinger. arle killing the 4th of harbinger while still being a kid shows how strong she is.
We don't know who the 10th Harbinger is but positions seem to be fixed so its unlikely that its her
