- 2Pac performing "Troublesome '96" (OG), from his "Greatest Hits" album.
Though his legend stands as a powerful pillar within hip-hop lore, it's sometimes easy to take 2Pac Shakur and his music for granted. Having blessed us with five albums before his untimely passing at the age of twenty-five, Pac's vast collection of songs paint a nuanced and multifaceted portrait of one of hip-hop's enduring figures. A poet, a thug, a love, an OG, and an accomplished chronicler of his environment, selecting one particular chapter of Pac's extensive story is no easy task. Yet there's something alluring about the haunting reflections of "Troublesome 96," a song that originally premiered on his posthumous Greatest Hits album in 1996.

"Troublesome '96" is a song by Tupac Shakur from his Greatest Hits album released after he passed away in 1996. It was produced by Johnny J. The song has a dark and rebellious feel that matches 2Pac's personality. In a live performance, 2Pac talks tough about other rappers like Nas and Mobb Deep. But the song also shows a deeper side of 2Pac, where he thinks about his own struggles and choices. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of all his true feelings and thoughts. Even though 2Pac is no longer alive, his music still inspires people and shows his talent and strong personality. Rest in peace, 2Pac, a legend in music history.

Kasinova tha don
I have no access to the way this was recorded but from what I hear here this was just an unfinished idea Pac had for yet another hit song ... it´s far too spontaneous for commercial approval . Even the music , overdubs added , perhaps even posthumous . There is the live version at the House of Blues , he doesn´t say it but it seems like he presents this as a teaser of what´s to come and never did .
One way or another , I , at times favour ( rough ) demos over highly polished , overthought recordings ...

Maccy G's Still a narcissistic egomaniac appealing to the dumb masses.
Maria Jamsen I agree, there's no subtance in todays rap like it was in the 80's to the 90's. Pac's voice sounds angry on this masterpiece,
This is one of my favourite pac songs. The lyrical master, genius. He wasn't just a rapper but a bad boi actor and had a brain that was beyond his time. One clever brudda.❤
Nobody could ever write a song like this as vicious as Pac did in todays generation. His lyricism was so menacing. The hunger, pain, anger, confusion & the hopelessness in his voice will never be duplicated. It’s almost like he had something to prove to himself and did just that. Pac will always remain the GOAT!! 🐐🔥
"niggas talk alot of shit but thats after im gone" funny how thats true 💯
Nas and jay z call them selves the best would of had there careers destroyed if pac didn’t die

2pac is not dead, listen to the lyrics, "God 4give me but i plan to die, i did the best I could '", exit 2pac enter Makaveli !
in this period of time , pac style was changing, he was making the transition from 2pac to Makaveli. You can actually feel the difference in his delivery in his last recordings !!! Dope flow !!
Kinda in the same way Slim Shady changed to Eminem?
Yeah his voice was becoming scary plus powerful
Yeah. Pac was also improving in terms of technical lyrics.... In the Makaveli period, like many songs on his Makaveli Album, he was making alot of songs where he focuses more on his skills as a lyricist and his flow (Me and my girlfriend, Hold ya head, All out, Street fame, etc)while also mixing it with meaningful/inspirational lyrics. Like for example in this song(Troublesome '96) everything was on point from the rhyme schemes, the wordplay and entendres, the flow mixed with substance, I think that was the new style Pac was introducing to us as Makaveli, if he still lived on I feel people would've got more used to Pac being a lyrical monster with a dope ass flow
@@dxsh8853 facts
Actually, a lot people prefer his earlier work. By this time, he was mostly an angry rapper, who was being influenced by Suge and the L.A. gang life. His stuff was still great, but it was changing for the worse IMO....
" Either take me in Heaven and understand i was a G, did the best i could, raised in insanity, or send me to Hell cuz i ain't beggin' for my life, ain't nothing worse than this cursed ass hopeless life." Maybe the best bar i've ever heard spit! Truly legendary!! RIP Pac

Just Trolling hes saying it in a subliminal meaning but not to make it too obvious. IDK bout it but he has a lot of hints in his songs about faking his death and numerology and telling you what happens in the future.
