However, this has now changed. This nonprofit started well over a year ago. It started with a simple idea that was a solution for parents of a disabled child. The problem is when their parents are no longer able to help the disabled. Nursing homes are good idea but they are not ideal for a disabled individual and private care cost are too much.

I was diagnosed with Friedreich's ataxia in 1994 at the age of 12.
Friedreich's ataxia is an inherited disorder that affects some of the body's nerves. It is caused by a gene defect that is inherited from both parents. Symptoms generally start between 5 and 20 years of age and can include trouble walking, fatigue, changes in sensation, and slowed speech.
