Great place to hang out, usually not too crowded, bathrooms and outdoor showers.

I love this beach, but too expensive for family. $10 parking plus $5 fee for one person. I had to pay $45 last year. Good for locals like you. 😐

Went there in 2015 and it was only three people in the beach. Went again in 2018 and there were many more people there. The water was so clear the first time and the snorkelling was 10/10. The next time, rougher waves/ current so not as good that day.

Absolutely Janie. The Big Island has certainly gotten more popular and the beaches busier. Perhaps you could try some other beaches like Maumai? We are always making new videos when we get a chance.
