All Koreans use those 50 words in daily life. Those words are not book words!! If you are learning Korean and want to improve your Korean language skills, this video seems really helpful!! Also, I love that pink background!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
What do you mean with your expression these words are not “book words”? I have found them even in the dictionary ( 엣 센 수 한영사전/Minjung’s Essence Korean-English Dictionary)
@@monicastorbeck2238 I said those words are not BOOK WORDS!! It means Koreans actually use them in daily life!! So those words are practicle and different from some Korean words that are just written on a korean learning book and anyone in Korean does not use them!!! I hope I make myself clear!!!
@@LearningKoreanBUSANNAMJA I love you선생님♥️🧸👉🏻👈🏻
@@monicastorbeck2238 hey. While they ARE in a book, what he means is they are not vocabulary that’s taught to foreigners and is only technically correct despite not being said outside of books.
@@alexandermorrison7208 Hey. Bless your heart. Thanks for the extra explanation. What you mean is, that these teachers are teaching words that aren't used in books. You mean school books, novels? I've never heard nor read the terminology "book words", that's why I was asking, because it's really confusing. What I like at TTMIK is, they keep it simple and fun.
I would love to see a 「100 Essential Verbs for Beginners」sometime in the future!💖😆😆
They have a book ‘Korean verbs guide’ which has 100 verbs and it’s conjugations
@@subashree7800 Oh how sweet of you to inform me! Thank you, I didn't know that. I'll surely check out the book😘
they also have that video already, your going to have to search for it sorry.
They also have ‘30 essential korean verbs for beginners’, ‘30 essential korean verbs for daily routine’, ‘30 korean verbs for intermediate learners’ and ‘30 korean essential adjectives’ videos on CZcams :)
There's one with 30 essential verbs, by the time I finished writing them down, I understood the basic construction of tenses.
I'm so glad I know almost all of them, I was afraid that there might be many new words, but I guess studying paid off 😁
Yeahhh...same here 😁😀
It's better to add sentences with this words
For example: 우유 = milk
저는 아침에 우유 마셨어요
@@homairavlog1403 yeah we want every word with example
It's really better
so korean people ride in a cup of tea and drink the car
they are literely the same word!!!
Same word yes but the context/sentence will tell you which one it is.
I am so excited at the fact that I knew a majority of these!! I love learning with you guys so much.
축하해요~
I love that they take a pause before showing the answer so i can test myself. I'm so glad i know all those words
i like the way they make the background, the color gradation is so lovely
Loving the fact that I know most of the words just by watching dramas - almost 8 years - but this made me afraid of beginning to study korean and finding too repetitive in the first steps
8 years is alottt i wouldve learned korean by then 😭 i have been learning for 3 years and i can understand basically everything
@@Julia9892 omggg that's so cool
Similar story, i have been watching kdramas and kvariety shows since 2019 so approx 3 years and i was able to say 40 out of 50 words before the person in the video did lol
There’s this thing called TEUIDA you learn Korean from it and you learn like one thing per day and then it gives you a video that you can like speak in so it’s just a little conversation. It also has you speaking.
I’ve always had the same problem like I wanted to learn Korean but I didn’t want a hobby to be academic but this has been really fun
I’ve been learning/in-actively teaching myself Korean since Summer of 20 and I can honestly say I am SO proud of myself. I knew majority of these words and recognized the ones I didn’t know… This definitely helped me realize I know more than I think I do and that makes me more confident to go speak or even listen to Korean without subtitles!!! Thank you!
Hey! I've also been studying since then and I had the same experience! Glad to know that we're at a similar level. Good luck with your studies!
@@heyitskate7747 thank you!! You as well!!!
@@kas8689 do you have any study tips? It would be much appreciated
@@RainCloud59 yeah! Same question :(
The videos u guys make are really easy to understand as a beginner
I really want to learn Korean language, and this channel is really helpful for me 😊
you should also check their website!
@@Adzhanee Ok 😊
And their podcast on Spotify.
Thank youuu.
I'd love to see a "50 words for intermediate learners" too please
I’m happy that I know over half of them.
good! hope your going really well on your journey [obv if your doing one like i am]
it is always great to hear 승완님 and 예지씨 working together and creating awesome learning material. 고마워요 선생님!!!
Yay!! 고맙습니다💕
@@yejiinseoul 😳🌝 예지님 안녕하세요!!
@@Purplanne 😁
I am actually so excited right now because I know all these words although my brain was loading for a few of them and I wasn't able to say the words before 예지 선생님 actually read them 😄 now to practice some more in order to better familiarize my brain with the words and make them more "automatically" recognizable if that makes sense 😃 이 동영상을 만들어서 정말 감사합니다! 🥰
PS: Still a beginner here and I am not sure if my Korean sentence was properly formed or spelled correctly 😁
"이 동영상을 만들어 주셔서 정말 감사합니다"
@@user-jr3rn6om3k Oohh thank you so much for your comment and correction. I really, really appreciate it! I will keep that in mind 🥰
@@user-jr3rn6om3k Wow! Thank you so much! U cleared a doubt up that was in my head for a long time 😄🤍
This was a very good and easy lesson but I would recommend you to learn Hangul before learning words and phrases (basically any vocabulary) so that you can recognise the letters and their sounds and that way you can learn vocabulary very quickly 👍
Thankyou for this, I knew most of the words, feels so good 😭
Love this! Aside from the pause being like a test to recall the word, it's also like a good review! Can't wait to see more.
wait wait am i not being wrong? is the word for car and tea is exactly the same? which is "차"?
WE NEED MORE OF THESE!!! I LOVE THIS!
Best channel to learn Korean! Thank you so much!
it so satisfying that i almost know all of the words, thank you TTMIK

정말 감사합니다 선생님❤❤❤
Talk To Me In Korean...Seriously, you guys are freaking awesome. Thank sooo much.
What is this music? Feels like I'm on a Sherlock Holmes adventure haha
Also, this video made me realize a weakness in my skills. I knew 100% of these words already BUT because I always study vocab Korean -> English, when seeing the English word first here I had more difficulty recalling the Korean word than I would the other way around.
Practice Vocab from both directions people!
Please do more videos like this! Loved the structure and the bite-sized information doesn't make me want to constantly hit my head on a wall
Loved this, I need a 2nd part soon
I knew all of them 😊😊 proud 😊 still considering myself a beginner though not from day one but I'm trying little by little everyday and tell myself "할 수 있어". 감사합니다!!!
thank you, I find these kind of videos very helpful! I would love to see more of those kind of short lists of words. It's something I love to do in between when I don't have enough time to do a full lesson, just in bewteen.

제가 이미 배운 단어를 듣기 좋더라고요. 감사합니다!
WE need more like this😭😭😭😭😭😭
Listened to this on repeat while sping dishes today, and I realized just listening and paying attention to the spelling helped me differentiate between the vowel sounds which I had been struggling with before. So not only did I learn some new words, I feel like I have a better understanding of pronunciation as well. Thanks so much!
This video is great. It would be awesome to see this idea expanded with more nouns and verbs.
So happy I know most of the words here. ☺️
Fighting!
I would like to see "50 sentences in daily life" video in future🧒👨💻🙋♂️

The fact that I’m watching this as a Korean speaks a lot about me….
Ghamsahamnida these words helped me a lot !
Yea!!! I was able to guess most of the words. Thanks for the lesson❤
The words for older brother/older sister depend on who is speaking: males say 형/누나, and females say 오빠/언니
Also, when they showed 'news' and I was like 소식! Then they said 뉴스 -_- LOL Korean is becoming so anglicized
Actually 소식 and 뉴스 are different, 소식 is about your friends, family or maybe things going around you when 뉴스 is on tv or newspaper : )
I heard that from hyunwoo of ttmik.
@@ahlem4217 Oh! Thankyou for letting know! 😄🧡
@@Purplanne Oh it's really nothing : )
I think they were based on the emojis used. if you looked at the emojis it makes sense
Oh yeah😻 these are basic Words that used in daily life they r so much helpful for understanding the conversation!
