I wish they said you were stuck in that time forever and showed some fun animation based on when you fixed the wall last. So you’d be stuck in ancient. But could do the puzzle again to end in future, present or past.

Some rage, but it would have been hilarious if the binders would have been required to be used in an order that ended in the present for you to complete the escape, but if you ended on any other time, you are trapped in that time and no escape for you.
