You guys are so RAD!
Great video Clint! I sure do love these imposter lizards :P
They are so wonderful! Thank you. Loved seeing your new baby!!
Clint's Reptiles What baby
Shhhhh, it's a secret 🤫
Clint's Reptiles seriously
When's the vid dude
Your channel makes me realize how cool reptiles are (especially large lizards and snakes) when I used to think they were scary
Yes boi you are right
Yes!!! Finally a video on panther chameleons! As a owner of 8 chameleons I had to save 3 of em from owners who didn't what they got into. I hope you make a review on em so other chameleons don't suffer unnecessarily.
More to come!
@@ClintsReptiles if I can suggest carpet chameleons? They are so cool I am sure everyone will love to see one in a future video
Hey Alexshiro Jones. Chameleons are Awesome! If it wasn't for their difficult care they would probably be as popular as Leopard Geckos! :)
@@BenjaminsExotics of course I love chameleons but thier care is mostly based on the chameleons personality and some of mine are very short tempered lol. It took a lot of time for some of my chameleons to trust me in short its a lot of work to have and care for a chameleon.
yeah they are tricky buggers.
When you mimicked the chameleons toes I lost it 😂😂
Chameleons are epic, but the boss has his picture on the wall.
He is the best :)
Gus Gus is love :D
If I could I would probably also get myself a Tegu buddy but I know I can't give it enough space so I won't.
We have a video for that :)
Would you mind linking it? :)

Panther Chameleons vs veiled Chameleons?
Probable in the future.
I'm fucking in love with false chameleons they're the cutest lizards ive ever seen. That fact about how they just sit still all day even outside is hilarious.
You said it right on. Chameleons are difficult and the fact they don't live long is just too emotionally draining. The Panther and the Veiled are the easiest to keep. My Panther named Hunter looked just like the one you are holding. He was so Awsome!! I do still miss him.
Chameleons; the mood ring of the reptile world! Neat little creatures! The False Chameleon is freaking awesome! Love the spikes under the chin!
Loving the Tegu picture behind you!!
I never heard of the False Chameleon, but he's so cute!!! Maybe I can convince my husband. ;) Not for a while though. We're getting another snake (a western hognose) in 3 weeks, so it'll be a while. Oh! I love the close up of the CTR ring. I wondered, but now I know. LOL! ;)
It is amazing how many people can just tell ;)
Hey! Clint you really pulled through when the people asked for chameleons! I’m excited for this one
Thank you so much for starting this channel. It's always a joy to see your passion for these reptiles and great that you can spread your knowledge on keeping them. I've been looking forward to videos on chameleon/chameleon alternatives since I started following and I can't wait for the individual videos!
"Whammo! Tongue in the eye" lololol
time stamp?
I didn't know false chameleons could change color or had the sticky toe pads! That just makes them even more awesome!
lol Always love the b roll. Another great video, Clint and team. Thank you!
I just recently discovered your channel, and I love it. My favorite thing is how EVERY Lizard is arguably the coolest/best/most amazing lizard :D
thanks clint just bought my first panther after owning a veiled for several years. love your style. keep em coming.
Thank you I was looking at chameleons after a second chance I might look at the gecko or a false chameleon
I've always loved chameleons but feared their difficulty so I've stayed away from them. This might be a good way to work my way up to that level. And still have a stinking rad pet lizard.
Thos channel is stinking rad! Thanks for all you do Clint!
I've raised veiled chameleons for years and want to earn anyone looking to get a chameleon that they're very difficult to take care of in the beginning. I had a couple die on me relatively quickly. But I quickly learned how to control the environment and got them to thrive.
I learned that they actually do much better in a free range environment, which means keeping them outside of a cage in a room. (Don't try this with the babies!) I kept my big guy, Big Daddy, in the front room and my female in my bedroom. People loved coming over and sitting down on the couch, only to look over and see him sitting in the tree!
The most expensive phase of keeping chameleons is the initial start up; chameleon, lighting, plants (I used non-toxic hibiscus, ficus, scheflera), vines to connect trees together and travel the ceiling around the room, supplements, feeder containers, feeders, timers for the lighting, some kind of misting system if you can't hand mist 5-6 times a day, and a water dipper (preferably 2).
They're very easily stressed creatures, and this can affect their life span. So if you're a heavy partier or live in a chaotic home then they aren't for you. Though the typical household noise is ok, even when free ranging in the front room. But if you think you can handle it, I highly recommend one. They're amazing creatures and add a coolness factor that women absolutely love!
Thank you for another great video! I really look forward to learning more from you.
Amazing video!! Super informative and interesting! Can't wait to see these two in upcoming videos.
Hey John Grabowski. I agree 100%. These guys are Awesome! :)
I've kinda fallen in love with bearded anoles. This is a very beardy household too 😆
You forgot one important plus for the panther chameleon - you can pretend you’re Rapunzel ;) Just kidding, much as I love the way they look they’re way too difficult to keep for me. I’d rather look at them here or in a zoo. Thanks for showing us these beauties
Hey makanivalur. LOL! :)
Finally... CHAMELEONS!!!! Best channel ever
I love these Versus videos!
Keep up the good content man!
Another wonderful video, I’m not surprised at all. I hope you might consider making videos on any of these species: Hydrosaurus pustulatus, Cyclura nubila, Lepidothyris fernandi, Chlamydosaurus kingii, Corucia zebrata, Basiliscus plumifrons, Sauromalus obesus, Physignathus cocincinus, and anything from the Uroplatus, Goniurosaurus, and Phelsuma genera, just to name a few. Some of them are difficult captives, but I just thought I would give you some food for thought in case you make a video about the best lizards for intermediate and/or advanced keepers. Keep up the good work Clint (and colleagues).
FINALLY!!! Haha this was a great video thanks Clint.
Awesome video!
Gosh dang it why are you so awesome that I have to binge watch
Great job!
‘Mitten hands!’ makes me laugh every time.
Love it!
Ive wanted a chameleon because of the colors but knew how difficult they could be, so i ended up looking into the false chameleon and i think ill eventually get some. Helps my decision process that my boyfriend is freaked out by the mitten hands
KalypsoWolf I used to have a Chameleon. It’s not super hard to take care of.
Hey Clint, absolutely love the channel. Snake Discovery takes a more homely route while you take an educational one in such a enthusiastic and lively manner. Keep on with those reptiles man. In this video I would go with the False Chameleon due to it's more hardy and cool look, but I'd love it if you would do a video on the Australian Water Dragon. The animal to me is absolutely stunning and I am more than willing to spend tons of cash for it, wanting to level up from my Leopard Gecko who is now 6 years old, she's a veteran, lol. Anyways, a video on the Water Dragon would be fantastic after you introducing me to it with the head to head against the Green Iguana, much love, and keep growing Clint!
cant wait fof the full videos !
Always get happy when I get a notification :D
That is Super Rad and very cool
I live in Orem Utah and go to Animal ark all the time!!! What a coincidence hahaha! Great video!
Great video!!!!! Your channel is great!!!
Thank you so much!
You deserve all the subs you are gaining! You are an amazing youtuber!
Thank you so much :)
And WHAMO! Tongue in the eye :)) Thanks for doing this vid, I love chams :)) Planning to get a panther in two years !!!
I'd love to see a video on the Mountain Horned Dragons! Keep up the awesome videos :)
Good Video !!
Chameleons are really dope. I’ve had two and both were really cool!
The way the panther chameleon was standing on his hind legs on your hand hahaha 😂
Aren't they the best!?!
panther chameleons are serious star trek fans, i mean look at there fingers for gods sake
OMG OMG OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH great video dad my heart always will be with chameleons💚✨💚✨
I’ve recently learned about steppe runners and I’d love to know more. I love this channel.
We will cover them soon. Super awesome lizards!
Can't wait until you do a dedicated video of the Bearded Anole, I want to know so much more.
Definitely need some veiled and jacksons chameleon videos. I had 3 veiled chameleons, they were great.
This was a great vid
Thank you!
jim the savage, Agreed! :)
Looking forward to this 😀
Hope you enjoyed it as much as you thought you would :)
@@ClintsReptiles always clint! 😊🦎. I got my first argentine b&w tegu yesterday. 21 hours drive, but it was worth it. The best breeder in Europe and I had the first pick of the hatchlings. I got a male with some blue on him - yes, the only one in the hatch with some blue on him 😊. Would love to see a more indepth video from you in the future, do's and dont's, taming process etc 😊
That chameleon seemed pretty calm
Panthers are one of the best chameleons for handling. Not great, but pretty good.
The other day where I work me and a temp where talking about Reptiles because she owns a crested gecko and I brought up your channel
Thank you for sharing!
And I mentioned how awesome your tegu is
He is just spectacular :)
Finally a chameleon video.
I would really want to see you do a video on frilled dragons!
We will cover them for sure!
Kool
Lol "mitten hands"
Nice video!!!!! Im going to a expo in 2 hrs I’m excited
I'm excited for you!
The bearded anole's eye colour is just so amazing.
I got a veiled chameleon and I love him! I’m getting a false chameleon next. They’re so pretty :).
Nice video! I got my first panther chameleon yesterday! :D
Let us know how it goes! Such cool animals.
The little guy is doing great! He's drinking and eating very well! Can't wait for the chameleon video!
I swore it was Jared from "Silicon Valley"....you have to get that a lot. Great video
I 100% agree Clint chameleons are super hard to keep but rewarding if you have the experience I own 3 😎🤗 but I do love the bearded anole
loved the video clint ive been waiting for you to do a chameleon video for a while as the owner of 13 chams ive wanted to see what you thought about them
Did my analysis seem fair?
@@ClintsReptiles yes a very good review for the panther you definitely know your reptiles and I love watching your videos I'm looking forward to seeing your panther video soon
False chameleons are the most amazing lizards ive ever seen. Chameleons are gaudy flash like a bad 80s pop song, false chameleons are iconic
Hey I didn’t know you lived in Utah. I was surprised to hear my local pet store where I buy my crickets for my gecko and fence lizard. So I did some digging.
At 9:04 the chameleon walking just made me crack up because it was so hilarious
Do we know how these lizards put a picture together in their heads with independently facing eyes like that? Or is it just two different fields of view and they instinctively know which is which?
Chance Rogers not sure man you can always go inside your chameleons head & see how things work!
Bearded Anoles are one of my dream reptiles!
Between this and Snake Discovery, I feel like there aren’t going to be any false chameleons available for a while 😁
Fortunately they are quite fecund :)
I haven't told anyone else yet, but we just hatched our first baby false chameleon! So excited!!
But don't spread word yet, because I know people will demand a video and I don't have time to put one together quite yet ;)
Snake Discovery omg that is exciting news!!!
I have never felt so cool that two awesome channels replied to a comment I made 😁😁😁
Love ur vids uge fan i have i veiled chameleon
Clint you have the best reptile channel on CZcams how about caiman lizard vs argintine tegu?
Sounds like a great idea to me! And thank you so much for the awesome compliment :)
So interesting and so much fun. But the "stinking" repetition gets a little scary, as does the eye-popping. No need to put on - you're great just as you are! Very informative, very honest. Thanks!
I used to have a veiled chameleon named pistachio. He was super cool!
I just got an Ambilobe at the Portland Oregon expo. Chameleons are the RADDEST!
Stinkin' rad!!
Hi clint, i really love your videos, i want to ask you if you can make a video talking about the Tree Monitor Lizard if you have the chance to borrow one, i’m interested in buying one but i’m not finding some good videos or pages that talks enough about them.
Thank you for your good work, go on like this!
I do have access to some. They are awesome, but imports can be very fragile.
Such amazing cretures! My brother had a horned comelian are they similar to a panther care wise. Oh and CTR lol
I think the false chameleon looks cooler! Never heard of it before, I like their style :)
Thx.False Is my F A V E
will you do a false chameleon video soon, please!? i have fallen in love, but would like more specific abt them. how long do they tend to live? would their care be similar to the carolina anole? i checked that vid out too! thank you!
As someone with both i can personally assure you there is no etter species theyre both utterly incredible with such similar, gentle personalities. The only differences are really minute and ultimately theyre both RAD
**Panther Chameleon**
Clint: Show me a beautiful lizard.
**Green Tree Monitor**
Clint: I said beautiful lizard!
**Cuban False Chameleon**
Clint: Perfection
Do you think the wildly captive breaded snails for consumption here in France are free of parasite? I suppose so
While I love your reptile videos (chameleons and geckos are my favorite reptiles) but will you ever do amphibians ( especially axolotol and tiger salamanders because they’re my favorite)
I think I will. I did some polls this week in the community tab. People seem open to the idea.
Hey, I like the new background, especially with the picture of Gus Gus! I want something arboreal, but I'm thinking a Cuban Knight Anole would be a better fit. I had a veiled cham before (named him Mr. Spock because of the cool mitten toes!) But it wasn't right for me because I prefer and enjoy handling all my reptiles, so I had to rehome him =( Sometimes we have to make that decision for the animals sake, plus Mr.Spock would stress out at the sight of any other creature, and I have lots lol. I did get to somewhat interact with him when I misted his cage, because he liked to drink from the spray bottle lol It should be mentioned that if someone gets a chameleon, the best thing would be if it were the only pet in the home, or at least housed away from all others.
Knight anoles are often pretty grumpy.
@@ClintsReptiles They don't stress out as easily as chameleons, and I can deal with grumpy lol I actually have a Columbian gold tegu who's feisty and grumpy all the time but she settles down once I get her out of her enclosure. They learn that I am as persistent to love them as they are to hate me and they all eventually figure out that I'm not a threat. So even if they bluff at me I have yet to be bitten ^_^
Considering 2 snakes, 3 tegus, a Savannah monitor, a Leo and a bearded, (and 4 mammalian pets) I must be doing something right :)
MAGICAL LIZARD TONGUE!!!!
i have a female jacksons chameleon! she has quite an attitude. she was my first reptile (i got a leopard gecko a month later), and shes been doing well for me lately! i know quite a few people who have had issues with them but i guess ive just gotten lucky
I like berded dragons more but that’s just my opinion. Love your videos keep up the good work 🦎
"I think we gotta put them head to head"
My evil side: "let them fight"
Clint, have you seen the "reptiles uncaged" channel? Any thoughts on his "indoor ecosystem"?
Would be interesting to see you talking about reptiles that aren't normally domesticated, like venomous snakes, where you assess them not based on whether they are a good pet but rather based on awesomeness out of 5
That's a great idea!
Bearded Anole are so cute!
I’ve always wanted to be winked at by a chameleon
Clint do you have a basilisk yet? They make decent pets for people that have thick gloves, patients, and a huge enclosure
Wow nice minicraft tutoriel
Hope it helps :)
@@ClintsReptiles tell me the minicraft mod plis
I claim bias on you for this episode! I am partial to chameleons also having 2 myself. I have never owned a panther, however; because of their price! If you can find me a panther chameleon for $200, I want four of them! I'm just kidding Clint, usually I find the price for a quality Panther with decent lineage to be around $400, locally anyway. Not to say that they can't go up to a thousand in extreme cases, such as gravid, proven, beautiful females that tend to throw amazing offspring! I think if I were a lizard I would be a Cuban false chameleon, sitting around all day enjoying nature is what I like to do! I hope to obtain both of these species in the near future! Thanks for another great video Clint, and I really enjoyed your recent collaboration with Emily from SnakeDiscovery.com !!!
Kason Furnas. I agree 100%. Both of these Species are Awesome Animals!
Hey Clint! I’m thinking of getting a Red Eye Crocodile Skink, do you think you could do an episode on them and their care?? A lot of people are interested in them!
We will cover them for sure.
