I use this tactic on people that need help. I try to relate and win somebody's trust that I think I can help. Maybe this is not what everyone does but it's what I do. I am genuinely a good person and I want to help people and in turn I get nothing but knowing that I helped. People are so used to being persuaded and manipulated unfortunately. There are good people in this world. I promise you that. It hurts me more than I help but I expect that and am ready for it. Atleast I tried.

There are definitely good people in this world, and the best thing you can do is strive to be one of them. It's good to help people, but not to your own detriment. You can't build a house for yourself if you end up giving all your bricks to other people. I like to help, but I've adopted Jesus's method of teaching a man to fish. That way ultimately helps all parties involved.
