Wetland Trials - Full Playthrough (a challenging SMB3 hack)

Wetland Trials is an SMB3 hack that I started back in October last year. I randomly decided to try out SMB3, and the editor turned out to be really easy to use. Messing around and making a few levels quickly spiraled into a full-fledged hack (these things tend to happen don't they). Wetland Trials (named after the homeland of Venus Fly Traps, as well as the aerial view of a wetland being quite similar to an SMB3 map) is a 39 stage, 5 world non-kaizo hack that focuses primarily on hard platforming. The hack features a blend of traditional style (inspired by hacks like SUPER and SMW: Gaiden) along with some of the creative style I've picked up from my experience in Kaizo hacking.
Within the download, you'll find 4 different versions of the romhack. These versions are all completely identical except for the life count. You can choose whether you want to play with limited lives (25, 50, or 90) or with infinite lives. I would recommend that anyone not super familiar with the mechanics of SMB3 to play on infinite lives or on 90 lives. The 25 and 50 life modes should probably be reserved for people who are heavily experienced with playing SMB3 hacks.

Brilliant hack man. Taco Bros level of platforming but not Kaizo style. Fuckin' brilliant man, the puzzle in world one is so cool dude how does one even come up with this insane shit. Kudos to you man you created like one of the best Mario hacks there is. It's so good I wish there were a world 5, 6 and 7. Keep it up man, PLEASE

This is a good hack, gbreeze. It does 'traditional' really well, which is a pretty difficult thing to accomplish. It also feels fresh, which is great. Overworld design is nice. Palette choices are nice. From one hack maker to another, this is an incredible first project for Mario 3. I realize you're not a novice to hacking in general, but there are some real unique difficulties inherent to Mario 3 hacking. good job.
