best review of this bag, thanks mate!
Thank you!
Excellent review. Been looking for a replacement for my current backpack. Can all the internal dividers (including whatever is separating the top and bottom) be removed so that it's one big compartment from top to bottom (converting it into one big backpack)?
Can the tablet flap fit a iPad Pro 12.9’’
I love mine!
I like the top flap. Makes it atleast look more water resistant than my Manfrotto advanced 2 backpack. Not that I would take it out in the rain but extra protection is always nice.
Does the RF 100-500 fit in the back? I can fit it no problem in the Manfrotto. I guess you sacrifice some space having that side access.
I haven’t tried the 100-500 but judging by the dimensions I’m sure it would fit in fine laid down in the back or top compartment.
Not a bad design, but I wouldn't say I like the opening clasp. It's too big and calls attention to itself. Also too bad about only having side access on one side. Maybe in their next go around they could get that sorted.
I do not like top flap, mostly because it's other people in behind you in the crowd can open it too easy and stolen something from inside. There is no protection to open it, this clap should have two options: easily to open and secure open. Anyway, thank you very much for great presentation!
The lock isn't so much of an issue for me as my expensive gear is inside the larger compartment. But I get what you are saying. I love this bag, picked up one last week, and the one thing he didn't touch on is the material in and outside of the bag; it's fantastic. Quality stuff. Definitely, the best backpack I have owned.
@@maurissej can second that, I have a peak design bag with their tpu coted fabric and in comparison the vsgo fabric feels far more durable, Waterproof, has a softer feeling and it doesn't mark or scratch as easily. Not to mention the bag uses really high quality hardware from reputable manufacturers. Everything from the zips to the straps feel premium and has one of the best handles I have ever held.
please where did you get your jacket from?
Hey man! It was from River Island in the UK
I've got rid of my backpacks. If I'm going to a studio shoot I take a trolley bag. If I'm wandering about I use a messenger or sling - much easier/faster to access and stops you from bringing too much unnecessary kit. 1 body and 2-3 lenses.
That sounds like a sensible setup. If I didn’t have to bring two camera bodies to film so often I would probably use a sling more. What trolley bag do you use?
@@JamesReader It's definitely easier to use and saves your back! I use a Benro Pioneer 2000 trolley bag - absolutely solid.
I know the specs say 15.6" laptop. Could a 16" MacBook Pro really not fit?
