I did not minus 2” from the waist, I only reduced the waist length because I added 2” band which made up for the shortage

How did you get the radio

If your waist circumference is 30 including your zipper allowance, you divide it by 2 which will give you 15 then divide 15 by 6.28 that will give you the radius, use it to cut 2 full circle with your desired length. After you cut out the 2 circles, you split the circles into two and join them together that will give you your full waist circumference
