Subbed. Thanks for the tip on finishing a tutorial but then going back and doing it yourself. Been trying that out myself and it's been working well!

Amazing, glad to hear that. It's honestly like riding a bike. Muscle memory.

Great content I find myself very similar to your path. I am currently in the shotgun job application process but so far no replies and some rejection emails. I was actually happy I got rejection emails because at least I got a response. Can you do a video further explain what you mean by meaningful applications? Thanks keep up the good work

Yeah, just keep at it. Networking helps a ton too in this part of the process. I'll definitely consider doing a video like that. In short though, meaningful applications = taking the time to really fill out the application, and understand the role and what the company does rather than shotgun applying / linkedIn quick applying, etc (as we've all done before). Hope that makes sense.

Hi there! I do have a question when searching for jobs on indeed or LinkedIn. What should we be searching in the search bar as new developers? Should we be searching “junior web developer jobs” or just “web developer” “entry web developer” etc. thank you for your content!!

Good question. There are many job postings that you may feel underqualified for but in reality, you may very well be qualified. So, search for all of the titles you mentioned and look at the skillset and job description rather than the job titles. Hope this makes sense.

Any recommendations for projects for Backend? 'Cause right now I'm not interested on Full Stack.

Hmm, that's a good question. To be honest, I'd suggest doing something in Node or Python that has at least some semblance of a frontend (React for instance). Even if you're focusing on Backend, you'll still likely need to display your work with a UI.
