That's a whole lot of awesome sauce, it's like a grid layout but with envelopes! Super cute idea Paige. Even though I know the video's sped up, still I'm always stunned at how fast you add embellishments. I think I must move things way too much :D One question about your sewing machine stitch setting, do you know what stitch length you go with? I haven't figured out a good look with mine and your sewing always looks awesome.
Sometimes not thinking and just going for it works out hehe. I do vary the machine stitch length depending on how many curves and angles are on the project - lots of curves = smaller stitches, straighter edges = longer stitches :)
Love this idea of miniature envelopes! The result is so colorful and it's a perfect way of showing off all the gorgeous patterned paper. The stitching is phenomenal! One question, though, what settings do you use on your sewing machine to stitch through patterned paper? I have a Brother sewing machine as well, and try as I might, I can't see on paper nor cardstock without my thread bunching up or tearing my paper. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Lorimar! Thank you for your kind words! I have the tension set between 1-2 and it works great. I also use standard white thread by Coats & Clark, maybe that will make a difference. Hope that helps!
