    Great video thanks. Noticed you have a non roll line smaller black cushion on the back of both skates, why is that? Also interested in your wheels but maybe that would make another good video. Makes, sizes, durometer, positioning, indoor and outdoor prefs etc
    Is that a single fo-mac on the rears? to help with one foot turns?

      The cushions on the back of the plate is indeed a Roll Line cushion. It's a very dirty and worn Clear Blue cushion (Medium hardness). I run the rear trucks softer than the front so I can crave a bit harder when speed skating from time to time. I plan on changing it to the Clear (Hard) cushions for more stability.
      I do have plans on making a video series on the various parts of roller skating equipment.

    What size are your 3200’s also what is the wheel base of your roll-Lines? I am thinking of putting roll-line killers on my 3200’s.and would like get an opinion of boot size vs plate size.

    Very clear, helpful tutorial- thank you! Do you have any tips on properly adjusting the pivot pin?

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  Před 3 lety

      Sorry, I haven't fully understood role of the pivot pin itself to go into detail about :(

      I have the Riedell 3200 boot.
      Visit their website and check out their roller and ice boots. They have quite the selection to choose from.

    I have the roll line ring plate, I have 50 mm wheels but the nut scrapes the ground any suggestions on how to fix? Your wheels looks small.

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  Před 2 lety

      Roll Line plates aren't optimized for small wheels. I had the same issue last summer when my wheels started shrinking. What I ended up doing was just getting a new set of wheels, 57mm and using those. My current plate, the Arius Platinum plate, allows for really small wheel usage. Perhaps taking a look see at that plate.

    Hi, was wondering what size plate you have on the riedell 3200. Looked like a 9.5 boot size but couldn't make out the plate size.

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  Před 3 lety +1

      My boot size is 10 and the plate size is 180.

    How loose do you like your trucks?

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  Před 3 lety +1

      I usually have them fairly tight, roughly 9 to 10 clicks after the initial 3 clicks with my fingers.
      Mainly due to the added stability when doing 1ft. toe spins and being on the Inside or Outside edge on 2 wheels as well.

    Them poor wheels 🛐🤲🏿
    Back one looks like a colony of mold growing on it 🤣🤣
    If they are velvets, sand paper or likes should do wonders

    • @Andvilsk8s
      @Andvilsk8s  Před 2 lety

      Lol "colony of mold" thats a good one. 😂 I don't trust myself with sand paper to evenly clean my wheels.
