- Initial kit, no preprogrammed pattern. Sound design session and mini acid techno jam. Recorded through A&H ZEDi 10 audio interface into DAW. Normalized and compressed, other than that - raw, unedited sound.

What a great sounding maschine!
The seq button is I think one of the magic weapons of the AB I haven’t seen in any other devices that come to mind. I like to switch it on and off in the middle of songs, depending on what else is going on with other instruments, you can achieve dramatic effects.
All it does is turn on/off parameter locks as far as I'm aware? Agree it's useful but wouldn't call it a magic weapon 🤔

I don’t know about that-literally it is just a SEQUENCING option, as in, turning on pitch for all steps for every instrument-when it is off, every instrument will sound at the tuning it is set at, like a classic drum machine (just triggers, basically), when it is on, then everything is being played chromatically at whatever the global tuned scale is, at whatever pitches have been set, per step. When you have various melodies and harmonies going from other instruments synced to a drum machine, switching the sounds from triggers to having melodic content suddenly can be very dramatic, yes.

Once you understood/liked the workflow you cant away from that mashine.
Also a handy feature is to turn „chain“ on for „hot swap“ next pattern.
