@@OnYouGlenn I don't think it's that "females aren't funny" which doesn't make much sense, but mostly making it big as a comedian to the point where they are well known and can make a living exclusively doing standup is super rare and difficult to do. There are a lot of females comedians but that is a relatively new thing. There are a lot more male stand ups. So when you consider how rare it is to get famous off this profession, it makes sense that there would be more men. More shots on goal, so to speak. Also, of course, sexism does play into it somewhat as well. There are many people who will quickly dismiss a female comedian as "not funny." Without giving them a solid chance. Also certain types of jokes that comedians fall back on commonly don't land well with socially conservative people when it comes from a woman (sex jokes for example). It's a changing dynamic, but I think it's important to try and see the whole picture and not resort to generalizing in order to come up with an easy answer that fits your own biases.
This is terrible. The delivery is awful. The timing is too deliberate. The jokes are bland and deliver predictable punchlines. It has nothing to do with being a woman... It has everything to do with how awful it is.

If she is new though, she has a lot going for her. Personally I really like the kind of awkward/monotone way she talks, that could definitely be a good tool once she finds her style. She just needs to work on the delivery. Need to build up to it, and be a bit more expressive at certain points.
