Make closer relationship and intimacy with the Holy Spirit. He is our helper and comforter and guider and leader. That's His work that He was sent to do in our lives.
No man overcomes sins except he surrenders to the Holy Spirit of God to hold him by hand and teach and guide him.
He is the One Who will strengthen you and uphold you with His righteous right hand.
You will never be able to overcome it on your own, and this is what we believers miss out on.
God knew we cannot by our own. That is why He gave Him to us as a Gift to walk with us and help us in all matters not just sin. When you submit to His power of transformation,He will change you and set you free. He will then give you His fruits which reflect the Character of Jesus Christ for you to become like Christ Jesus. Surrender, yield to Him. Die to self!
