Haha I asked the question and you’re answering! I should have known better! I have never watched a tutorial with more information packed in to 30 minutes than yours! I watched your faux marble technique and girl I feel confident that I can do it because you’re so smart, talented and informative! I have turkey feathers and glazed over on it’s way 😂

Big fan of your products! Since this paint does not need a top coat or wax coat ....I am wondering if you can add transfers and gilding wax on top of this paint for embellishment.

Amy what would I put on my wood if I wanted to be able to return them to plain wood if I ever wanted to? Is it shellac?

Can I paint my laminate countertops with this? How do I fix small scratches before painting the counter? Finally you suggest I paint over the wood trim on the front of the counteracts (so 90's)

I can't speak for this paint, but I can tell you with proper prep, and the right top coat, your countertops will look new. I did mine three years ago and they still look brand new.

How long do you have to wait to sand the first coat?
Can you spray it? If so, do you dilute like you would chalk paint?
Yes you can spray it. No need to dilute with chalk paint. You can use water to thin it if you'd like!
Hey Amy 👋 what’s the difference between your one step and your one hour miracle paints ❤
One Step is a matte finish (no shine). Miracle Paint is an eggshell(slight shine). Both are water based, but the Miracle Paint is an enamel (more durable kind of paint formula). Both require no stripping or sanding, and the Miracle Paint does not require sealing
One Step Paint can be used with AHAH specialty finishes like Cracked Patina, Dust of Ages, waxes, a base for Milk Paint, etc. but Miracle Paint is best used solely as a paint by itself.
My daughter is redoing her old, pretty home... wants to paint the wood trim. Would this paint be good for that? And does it have VOCs? She is somewhat chemically sensitive.
This paint would be perfect! No VOCs!
I am so so sorry, I misspoke. Our new paint does in fact have VOCs because it is an enamel.
Excited about the new paint but couldn't hear Gene or DIL very well since they didn't have on mic's.

i had already purchased the other paint for my kitchen cabnets. Will I be okay with it. The one step also said no sealer needed. Should I seal them.
On high traffic areas I generally use a sealer. Especially if children are involved. Love the wax look though.
The One Step Paint is also great for cabinets! For high traffic areas we do recommend sealing. Our Mind Your Own Beeswax is perfect for cabinets!
@@amyhowardathome If I am painting my kitchen cabinets white, would I still use the Mind Your Own Beeswax OR Cerusing Wax? (the previous cabinet color is a darker brown)

I'd suggest the One Step Paint for Countertops!
How is this different than your other paints
what make this pain 1 hour. Nor sure if paint ony color door outer side is latex or oil. It's in side the building. Can I use this paint
This paint is a water-based enamel. It can be used on virtually any surface. It dries in less than an hour. You can most certainly use this paint, be sure to clean piece with Clean Slate first.
Can it go over oil based paint?
Absolutely! Just clean area with our Clean Slate first.
