- I know I said I would try to get this done yesterday, but I really really underestimated the amount of time it would take me to finish drawing this picture and then editing the video. The drawing itself took me at least 8 hours. Writing the story, recording the audio and art process, and finally editing probably took me much longer.
This fic wasn't something I really had great plans for. It was just something slow and low-key that I occasionally added to as I passed through dreary winter days and it somehow ended up being over 6000 words long. Thinking about how they would meet and what their relationship would be like sans the superhero stuff was interesting.

Love this gorgeous art and beautiful story! This story is so sweet and soft but with veins of sadness and anger woven in, which is a lot like Adrien himself. I have to say it was actually good to see this not so perfect characterization of Marinette's parents. There are plenty of moments in the show that show this, particularly season 3 (Weredad, Animaestro, Ladybug, etc). But in fanfiction people usually portray Sabine and Tom as these perfect or nearly perfect parents. They aren't as bad as Gabriel, but they aren't nearly perfect at all either. That said, in the case of your story Adrien's anger and worry was righteous. I really like how you wrote his thoughts and feelings about them, although he really shouldn't have felt bad about feeling the way he did just because Marinette said they mean well. Their gaslighting, controlling, condescending behaviours are abuse and they need called out. I would love to see more of this AU ...them running away, raising their hamster and just living their best lives together would be amazing.
It's so beautiful. I'm so inlove with the story. And tell you that you're an amazing writer. Can wait to read/watch other stories.

I enjoyed the story...for the second time today. I read the story on AO3 this morning and liked it. You're a good storyteller. This afternoon I picked up my tablet and checked my subscriptions on CZcams. There you were again with the same story. So I listened and enjoyed it as much as I did this morning. When I finished reading the story this morning I thought, "I hope she records this one. It would be fun to hear it read." I was right.
