Lindsey has had a similar career to Pentatonix. She was on America's Got Talent in 2010, doing a "hip-hop violinist" act, playing creative solo violin arrangements of pop music whilst also dancing. She got eliminated in the quarter-finals but the appearance boosted her CZcams channel and she built it from there. She now has millions of fans, several recordings and world tours and has published books of violin music and a comic book based on one of her songs.

Papaoutai is a fun to watch with Lindsey and PTX. The violin and cello are great together. ( they also collaborated on Over The River, also excellent)

If you go down the Lindsey Stirling rabbit hole (and I recommend you do), first understand her America’s Got Talent history: “to do what you do, you need to be a world class violinist”, “you need to find yourself a band”, “sounds like rats being strangled”, “you’re not good enough” and “you will never sell at an arena in Vegas”.
Check out her debut album cover, then watch Crystalize, The Arena, Shatter Me (ft Lzzy Hale), Artemis, and The Underground. Realize she also competed on “Dancing with the Stars”.
THEN watch her latest video Eye of the Untold Her (and try not to cry).

As others have mentioned, I'd highly suggest going down the Lindsey Stirling rabbit-hole. She's an amazing violinist and has her own line of violins now. When she was told that she wasn't good enough to be able to dance while she played, it didn't deter her. She even rated in the Forbes 30 under 30. So, how wrong those judges were. She's now a multimillionaire and is laughing at their comments all the way to the bank.
What's really funny is that they brought her back as a guest performer just a couple of years later. Since then she's played a few times with other contestants. They sure changed their tunes quickly.
One of my favorites is one of her earliest songs. It's called Crystalize. She did 2 versions. The original version of the video where she's in cosplay (which she's famous for doing for all of her song's videos as she loves cosplaying) and one where she actually plays the song while hanging only by her hair. She said it hurt like crazy and it took her training with a professional to pull it off, but it was fun to at least try it once.
I'd also recommend, as others have, "Shatter Me" with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm which she wrote while working to break free from an eating disorder. Then there's "Love Goes On and On" with Amy Lee from Evanescence.
There's a little known one that she did for an anniversary of a game called "What You're Made Of" that I wish more people would react to.
Anyways, there's a few to take you down the Lindsey Stirling rabbit-hole. Have fun.

I am a pentaholic but I also love Lindsey Stirling, and since you guys have opened up this rabbit hole, for her, I suggest checking out my favorite personally, “ Shatter Me“

This video design fits the song better than Imagine Dragon's original, which was about plushy Muppets tearing each other apart in an underground fight ring.

    Excellent reaction.
In 2015, I believe, CZcams held it's first awards show. 5 awards were given and this song won for "Response of the Year". PTX and Lindsey knocked out of the park.
Lindsey's body of work is worth a look, not only for being so unique and creative, but for the fact that she wears all the hats. She writes, arranges, produces, storyboards, directs and edits her videos. This carries over to her live shows where she's the tour director and has her touch on everything. She even makes most of the costumes. Her genres are; classical, contemporary, rock, country, hip hop, K Pop, J Pop, metal and Bollywood to name a few. She is THE multi-hyphenate!
Here's a link to all her songs. If you just have time for a peek, I'd recommend, "Roundtable Rival", which is her most viewed song, and for diversity, "Carol of the Bells", which is a song off of her first Xmas album and a couple of years ago, (in the summer if you can believe it), it began trending and hasn't stopped, now recaching 9th on her most viewed playlist. It's also the ONLY INSTURMENTAL SONG EVER to reach the top 10 on Adult Contemporary Radio. You will not believe your eyes and ears!

This is definitely one of their better songs for sure!! I agree with you guys!
Lindsey Sterling she also did a video with The Tenors...singing Who Wants To Live Forever by Queen. This is an excellent video made like a movie. Sad at the end. Great video, great song, great violin, great story.
PTX has a bunch of collabs...one of my favorites is The Wizard Of Ahhs. With Todrick Hall. Excellent movie/video.
Another great collab is with Jason Derulo. If I Ever Fall In Love Again. Please react to this one. Scott sings higher than Mitch. Never heard him sing that high...ever. So good!!!
    Thanks guys!!

Interesting background with this video. At the time it was released (on both PTX and Lindsey's channels), Lindsey had a much larger following on CZcams than PTX, who were just starting to become popular there. The collaboration was essentially a "helping hand" from Lindsey to let PTX gain access to a larger audience on CZcams. If you check the views, Lindsey's channel still has nearly 4 times as many views for the video as PTX does on their channel! Lindsey has a huge (and well deserved!) fan base and would be well-worth taking a look for your reactions!

Lindsey Stirling is definitely amazing. As others have commented, she has 2 other songs with PTX. My son, who played both violin and viola in his school days, loves her. He's seen her in concert several times, and waited around at the stage entrance door after a concert to get an autograph about 7-10 years ago.

This was filmed at the Salton Sea where a poorly-planned resort turned the Sea into a toxic mess. It's mostly abandoned but there are still some people living there.

You should react to the other 2 collaborations.
Lindsey is famous for playing the violin and dancing. She was on dancing with the Stars several years ago and she did her final dance while playing her violin. So, yeah, she can ballroom dance while playing. She's worked with 2 of the professional dancers in projects. She can sing, but doesn't much.

Lindsey Stirling is amazing! I "discovered" her through this video and became a fan of hers as well. She has a huge catalog of songs that she's done (Elements, Trancendence, Shatter Me, Roundtable Rival, Lost Girls, Arena, and so many others), and has done some great collabs with other artists (Papaoutai and Over the River with Pentatonix, and several with Peter Hollens including Skyrim theme, Game of Thrones theme, Fields of Gold, Star Wars medley)

Lindsey Sterling auditioned for AGT and didn't make it very far- but She already had a CZcams channel and after AGT she became extremely famous. Simon said there wasn't a market for her pop classic mix. How wrong he was. I love her!

I'm going suggest a few of my Lindsey Sterling favorites (because if I listed them all, we'd be here all day...): Roundtable Rival, Forever Glow, Underground, Til the Light Goes Out, and The Arena. And if you're looking for Christmas music for the holiday season, there's some wonderful songs on her Christmas albums.

Lindsey is amazing . She dances while playing...and I mean "dances". She trained in both violin and ballet and incorporates both in her pieces. You should, even if it's just for yourselves, check out her channel. Some of my faves of hers: Snow Waltz, The Arena, Masquerade, Shatter me, Transcendence, Roundtable Rival.
Other PTX pieces with Lindsey collab:
    Over The River, Papaoutai.
