thank you for explaining this so clearly!! I'm about to start at Starbucks and I don't really know much about coffee, but now I'm excited to make drinks!
She touched on it and made a great point, but I want to elaborate... if you order an iced coffee it automatically comes with a sugar syrup called classic syrup. If you don't want your iced coffee sweetened, order an iced coffee no classic syrup and add your dairy. I only like half n half in my iced coffee so I was thankful when the batista explained that to me.

This may sound strange but ordering coffee always looked intimidating because there’s so many options but this helped me understand the basics so thank you sm 😭

I literally try most of the ice coffee drinks you suggest. I make a list in my phone and try them when ever I go. My fave from your suggestions is the Venti ice quad espresso with white mocha, and sweet cream cold foam.

The first time I ordered coffee when I was 18, I just asked for coffee and got a black coffee instead 😅 I was thinking they would’ve known to add cream or milk and sugar. After that, I always found ordering coffee so confusing because there’s so many different types

Thanks for this! I’d love to understand the difference between cold brew and just regular brewed coffee. Caffeine and taste wise.
I work at starbucks so I can give some insight, cold brew is slightly more bitter than brewed coffee (IMO, heard some said its sweet tasting) cold brew takes 20 hrs to make and its basically heavily concentrated so when you pour it into kegs, add water and ice. the caffeine difference is (I believe) cold brew has more than brewed coffee.
love this new type of video! i just started liking coffee/ coffee type drinks a year or two ago so this is super useful even if i don’t work at a coffee shop :)
ps- if you like matcha (and strawberries obviously lol) you should try a matcha with strawberry cold foam! it’s super good! :)

Oh really love this explanation, as all this time I thought ice coffee is simply milk on ice with a splash of coffee, then its actually the other way around, or is this just the Starbucks definition of their iced coffee

Watching this while drinking my homemade iced cafe latte. Hahaha. IMO. Coffee should be consumed without sweetener. Sending love from the Philippines.
Italians often have Cafe Lattes as their only breakfast. Therefore, a high ratio of milk to coffee would sustain them until lunch. Later in their day, just a shot of espresso is preferred.
