    Sir, in Exodus 20:5 You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me. Sir, with this Scripture it is very clear that there is a generational curse on those who hate God, those who hate Jesus Christ, or I can as say the unbelievers. Generational curses have it root from sin. For example:- in Genesis 38: from vss 15, Judah committed sin, and that sin he committed delayed the Kingship after him for Ten generation, that was when David was born. This is what is known as generational curse. Many unbelievers are suffering today because of what their generation past committed.
    Sir, there is spiritual warfare, even the Scripture you read is a prove that there is a spiritual warfare: The weapon of our warfare is not carnal - so sir, when it is not carnal, it is spiritual. This is very simple and clear.

      hi, after Exodus read further to ezekiel 18:19-23 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.. you can finish that up at your leisure. That scripture alone show that generational curses are gone. Then get this full message to understand better

      @@DammiescornerSir, Exodus 20:5, have no conflict with Ezekiel 18:4, men only creates conflict in the Scriptures when they don’t want to give up errors and simply accept the truth.
      In Exodus 20:5… God said… For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me. Note clearly in His word…. { of those who hate Me} those who hate God will suffer as a result of the iniquities of their fathers.
      Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.
      From Ezekiel 18:5 we begin to see conditions:- this man is just or righteous, but have a son who is evil, wicked, or sinful the son shall die.
      If I speak from Exodus 20:5, in Ezekiel 18:10 the son hate God and he die as a result of his iniquities.
      In the same manner if a man is evil or wicked { hate God } and have a son who is evil or wicked { hate God } the curses runs through that generation. God visit the iniquities through that generation that hate Him.
      That was why Jesus Christ came to saves everyone who believes in Him.
      Whoever did not believes in Jesus Christ, continue to suffer the penalty of their sins.
      These things the Jews understood very well.
      In Matthew 27:25 And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.
      In Matthew 23: reading from vs. 13-36 : Jesus Christ announces seven woes on the Pharisees; then in vss 35-36 Jesus Christ said:
      Vs. 35..that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth; from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
      Vs. 36…”Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
      Anyone who refuses or reject Jesus Christ, is bound to suffer the curses of what his fathers had committed.

      @@e.s.7942Jesus Christ came to save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 and again;
      Jesus Christ came to redeemed us from the curse of the law. Galatians 3:13;
      But this is only answerable to whoever that believes in Jesus Christ. Not to unbelievers, unbelievers under the curses of the iniquities of their fathers.
