I went onto the Emma website (Irish website) and there was only one 'Emma mattress'. Now after buying it I'm only hearing of this Hybrid one. I guess that's only available in the UK?

Unfortunately I heard several bedding experts tell that it is absolutely not a good thing that foam mattresses are highly compressed like this and also stay in that vacuum condition for a longer period of time, sometimes weeks or months. It actually downsizes the quality of the foam on the long run. So I purchased a mattress that will come in a normal shape, custom made. Right from the factory.

I'm 100kg and it makes my back ache now. It started off fine so I think the mattress sags over time and just under a year later, alas outside of the trial period, I'm looking to replace it. I think longevity will be a problem for these mattresses especially if you're heavy. Buy cheap buy twice as they say.

Emma talk about the 5 zones, one of which is the 'shoulder zone'... but how do you know which end it is and therefore which way round to place the mattress... or are both ends the same? There's no info in the package. Thanks!
Don't touch them with a bargepole. On my 3rd, under guarantee. 6 months in, very soft and saggy, and physically have to roll out of the pothole. Negative reviews of these are removed by Emma, and only fair to positive ones remain. But in my opinion, they are utter rubbish. Good short term, but that's it. Thankfully they have a long guarantee.. which I've now used a few times and no doubt will continue to use.
