I think this has basically ruined Fifa 15, it was too far down the road to try and turn back, but I agree that Fifa 16 will be a lot more like Fifa 12 which could potentially be a good thing (I'm currently unconvinced, they can't even photoshop the background from some of the managers, never mind make a functioning game with decent servers we can all play and have fun on and until that they don't deserve any more money imo, we already buy the game)
Even when it settles down in 16 you are still not going to be able to use anyone decent (especially now trading is dead) without spending real money, but now it's a case of spend £70 on Fifa points and pray for Ronaldo, instead of just spend £70 on coins and buying Ronaldo, essentially all it has done is made it worse value for money, which is fair enough it's EA's game and they can make all the money they want (and lets be honest thats all they care about), but I don't see how anyone can argue that it is good for consumers
Andy no offense but you will ultimately be pissed off due to the fact you make money from coin sellers
Oh no. Now you can't use your coin sponsor money to buy drugs. What are you gonna do now? Cry and listen to yourself talk? You girly sounding bitch.
xGUNSHOT01x Andy doesn't support EA because they haven't made a decent Fifa in a couple years. He's not giving them more money because if the sales for fifa 15 are high what's going to stop them from just re-skining and light updating version of fifa 15 and make it fifa 16 if people are still going to buy it. Coin sellers did ruin fifa but fifa was already a broken game to begin with coins sellers just made it worse
On my phone so can't reply to the replies, but I think it's stupid that people think I'm not allowed an opinion on how the game will be to play because I make money from it
Obviously I'm disappointed I can't have a coin sponsor but I knew it would never last forever and ultimately I am just another person who plays Fifa and imo this is bad for the average Fifa player (pun 100% intended)
AJ3Fifa how is this bad for the average fifa player? is it bad that I don't have to vs people who have a multi-million coin team funded by moms credit card? is it bad that I no longer have to conform to the horribly inflated player prices caused by coin sellers? i'm failing to see how this is bad for the average fifa player..?
I think what EA should do is reward particular players with rewards. Not just youtubers because that Kazooie guy got a free untradable Ronaldo and so should we.. For example, you get an untradable Messi after 100 online fut games or you get exactly 1k + 500 or so coins extra for goals scored etc so players have more chance of improving their teams
Anyone miss the good old days...we had the Brazilian League, Ronaldo and Messi were 400K ibra was 300K, no coin sellers, KSI was actually funny, It wasnt just Lobbed through balls with Ibarbo and Doumbia.
RIP FUT
EA should hire Spencer as a fifa community manager.
Why? He has no experience in management. Just because he made a 10 minute video, doesn't mean he should be a community manager.
I think that Spencer would make him the manager of EA in stead. Who agrees?
This is why Spencer is my favourite youtuber. He is a known Fifa Gamer. Every other famous fifa gamer promotes coin selling and they base R2D1 series on being able to buy coins. Spencer admits to spending thousands of hard earned pounds on his series. Not many youtuber have series that are as in depth as The Wheel Of Futune or Once A Lion. He thinks of the creative things possible and i can only hope that with the price ranges being added to fifa other youtubers will put as much effort in. Not throwing shade at any other youtubers because the sidemen are a group of youtubers that i also am a big fan of.
He's the best:) he doesn't scream over packs like a 5 day old quacking duck (w2s)
One of the main reasons I respect you, Spen.
Is that you don't support coin selling.
Proves you can make good content without stupid wagers and crap like that.
TheCargeek123 Wagers and stuff will be more intense because to get a player worthy of wagering people will have spent a lot of time or money to get a player instead of youtubers who played each other and just gave each other the value of the player they lost through coins they got from their own sponsor. Hopefully this system will work out well to eliminate sponsors.
I don't know if anyone will agree but I bet some coin sponsor will find a way to get their customers their coins
It's the best thing EA have done in a long time. People need to stop moaning ffs.
I know it's all thanks to coin sellers, yea trading wont be as easy but u can still trade
A max price I understand but not a minimum what about when players go down in value, not everyone likes to buy coins and some of us have to work up too money. Most really good players cost 100k+ and it is hard to get that money so like me towards the end of FIFA when TOTS comes out and players like Aguero or Toure will go down in price so people who don't buy coins can use them and try them out but now I can't and I will be restricted to the same players.
TheOmarbravo9
It's almost impossible to trade as you can't do bidding wars nor 59th mins buys nor real life performences.
I love the idea! EA have basically stopped coin selling/buying. I believe this UT market is basically ruined (but it was anyway) and they had too try it on this FIFA. Ultimately, this will make FIFA 16 like FIFA 13 and previous FIFA's where you actually had to build teams buy playing game after game, winning tournaments and divisions and maybe spending a little bit on FP. One problem I do have is that trading is almost dead but ultimately, everyone (including me) have to pay the price for buying and selling coins.
Yes, and that won't take loads of time when just 1 game takes surely 20 minutes. When you have played 10 games, you will get less than 5 k after playing the game for more than 3 hours if you don't promote to a higher division. They've digged their own grave, because to make FIFA 16 fun to play, they need to work much harder...
What if you want to trade it's really hard to make coins so they have ruined the game because it's harder to pic up deals but the only good thing is theve stopped coin sellers
That's the only problem i have with the new market: min buy. If they delete that feature people can trade again
ok but by doing this no one will ever be able to buy someone like ronaldo or even a 85 rated player because to get to 20k you would have to play for at least a full day non stop, and some people don't have the time to do this.
Congratulations on 500,000 subscribers , deserve it so much
Rise the coins per match and lower the price of fifa points. A win-win situation for everyone.
Jacob Matchi they should get the extra demand from no coin sellers and being a monopoly so there revenue should increase from selling more even though prices have dropped
Seen this comment everywhere. Blows my mind how stupid people are.. Making coins easier to get just makes players more expensive, it's called market inflation. Learn about it before commenting such crap.
But Tue market can't inflate with these price ranges there will be no market crashes no nothing
Honestly Spencer, you are like the voice of reason in the community, if you told me to jump off a cliff. I probably would because you said so lol xD
Congrats on hitting 500k subs! You deserve it, you are a great youtuber and have the best series' ever. Well done, I'm a big fan, keep working hard
I really like your views in this video and I respect your professionalism that you showed towards both sides. Well done mate keep up the good work and loving your videos.
Just imagine if coin sellers were never a thing and didn't get so huge and lots of youtubers pushed them to the moon. None of this would have happened
Imagine if FIFA POINTS weren't complete bullshit and you didn't get 400 coins for a Win
Yeah I would like it if they reduced the price of points and increased coin rewards. I wouldn't exactly call it bullshit but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
How does no one get this? If you got more coins for winning a game, inflation of prices would happen. If everyone printed money in real life you don't get richer...
For real. It's why everything cost millions of coins currently. Like Spencer said, hopefully things with be smoothed out by 16
much respect to you spencer great video man keep it going ive been watching all your serious and i really do enjoy them all again much respect mike los angeles CA
Glad to see a youtuber finally talking a bit of sense about this topic and fifa in general. Got a subscribe off me mate
This has kind of ruined FIFA for me... Say want you want but i love buying coins to get the teams I want. The game isnt fun when you are stuck playing with cheap team.
You can always trade and there are so many cheap players that are simply as OP as expensive ones. I really don't understand people who pump money to game, I feel the starting price is pretty high already. You shouldn't buy a game just to pump even more money to it IMO
The prior meaning and purpose of ultimate team is to work your way up to build your best teams. For example; playing games, trading and winning tournaments. Even buying FIFA points as cliche as that sounds! But BUYING coins is cheating and unfair. This is a big but very smart and important move EA made
But the thing is other people don't want to buy coins and when coming up against a team with TOTY everything in division 10 then you get pretty pissed when you only can use your 10k cheap team. And the point of the game is to save up coins for big players so there is a reason EA didn't sell coins to begin with.
Quite simple FIFA point wise. If we want lower prices, stop paying the prices they are at now. No other way to get them to lower them. The hacking issue is a lot more important, more to the point, the EA live chat support giving out people's personal information is THE most important point.
Soo much respect for you mate, one of the very few youtubers who's main focus is not money and flaunting what they have undeservingly got. Good old fashioned channel that focuses on good quality content. Love it
Congrats Spen On 500,000 Subs You Definitely Deserve It!
The analogy with the filming industry doesn't really work imo, fifa points are just a virtual currency. EA don't have to do any work to create fifa points, like filmmakers have to do for their movies.
They are part of a game that is owned intellectual property. Whether they have to do "any work" to make them or not is completely arbitrary. They set the price based on customer demand...simple as that.
I guess but EA do have to create the game and implement the currency and exchange so they get the money so by other companies selling coins for a hell of a ton cheaper then points then EA won't be getting money as no one will want to buy points therefore they are being robbed of their own game. Taste of their own medicine to be fair they overlook many good ideas from the community and allow multiple hackers into their own game.
AFMakers They do have to create the game yeah, but everyone has to buy the game too! That should be the compensation for that, like it is with any other game.
Spencer FC Yes spen you're right on that last point and I don't see them making points any cheaper (I never buy them anyways). I only meant to say the analogy with the film industry appeared not to add anything.
This is actually really interesting from an economic point of view. The idea of 'price ceilings' & 'price floors' is actually a really hot issue right now considering Labour's manifesto in which they are attempting to increase minimum wage (price floor) as well as reducing tuition fees to £6000 per year (price ceiling), I'm looking forward to seeing how this all plays out......
Just seeing how many people are unhappy about what EA have done maybe they ought to turn their views to politics haha. Great vid Spen!
+spencer FC 😂😂 I don't know why but I imagined that in a booming spencer voice XD
But price barriers in FIFA are much different than in real life. FIFA is using the price restrictions to essentially stop counterfeiting which is causing immense inflation. However, governments can stop counterfeiters with police force, so setting price limits wouldn't help in that regard and can even hinder the market from reaching equilibrium.
I've just noticed there's a mass surplus of players on FUT as people are not willing to pay even at the lowest price. Take Sturridge for example, his price floor is 20,000 coins, there are 100s of people trying to sell him to no success. I bought him for about 2,000 coins and I'm trying to make a quick profit haha :) it'll be good to see in the long run if this actually works
I totally agree with everything you said, but i just have to ask how do you get expensive players like legends or in form costa for example in London United and other series's if you don't buy coins?
Road to a million subs!! Well done Spencer!!
EA have really fucked up now, anyone that has literally no coins will now hate this game
People with no coins will love it! They will use their cheap teams and they will come up against cheap teams because people won't be able to buy coins and make legend teams! Everyone will be on the same level
whats fun about playing with cheap boring teams forever in on fifa? its no fun
Earn them yourself like you are suposed to, its not that hard. The reason its impossible is because of the coinsellers
I wish it was like FIFA 12, an 86 rated bale was 6k, Messi and Ronaldo were less than 500k, of course there were no seasons so there weren't as many coins floating around, but if the market went back to that state it'd be beneficial to everyone.
Not really, would take ages to earn 500k even if Messi was that cheap. I can buy a few mill for £15 to get Messi this year, £15 would get me a few packs worth of FP from which i could sell the players for like 40k.
It wouldn't take ages, on fifa 12 wish a decent trading session I could easily make around 100-150k a day
Bearing in mind however there was a smaller audience meaning the amount of Ronaldos compared to those who were willing to spend money on packs was a lot different. Now there'd still be lots of coins floating around, only in the hands of those willing to fund EA instead of coin sellers
Trading's boring though, FUT needs more rewards for people regularly playing the game they bought.
Keep doing what your doing because I love this channel more after every video you make.
You just gained a sucsriber! Awesome video!
A very fair viewpoint from a very fair man, great video Spenc.
Just a quick question, if you don't buy coins, how do you get legends on demand when you pull them out of the pot?
I have coins on my account ready and waiting from buying a disgusting amount of points.
Fair play mate, you must have spent a ridiculous amount to have that many coins! Takes a real man to be that dedicated to the fifa grind!
Spencer FC And dont you think its kinda wrong that you had to spend that much money on that many points just to get these players? It might work from an economic standpoint but at the end of the day its just wrong. The poor stay poor and the rich get richer. This is exactly what is wrong with the world and you support it?
I think this is absolutely brilliant from EA this makes for a level playing field for every player if it continues to fifa 16 it's great that I'm not going to be coming up against somebody who has paid to win from the market and has a full legends team I would love to see more you tubers doing what minim inter is doing and doing a race to division one that's doesn't include 99 ronaldo and pele fro the start this in conclusion is fantastic!
Instead you'll be more annoyed when you come up against identical serie a sweat squads with no variation wondering how the fuck a 75 rated player can score every shot…
***** I'd rather come up against a sweaty team that a good fifa player uses than some 6 year old that paid for TOTY Ronaldo and messi and can't play at all
I have played someone who had a full legend team including pele gullit and more and with my team that costs roughly 200k I drew so i dont care about people spending money to win because it is not foolproof. These price ranges although will kill the method I used to trade to build that whole team. I bought the IF Huntelaar for 40k when that totw was out his price rose as that totw became older and rarer and I sold him for around 130k it was unintentional then but i planned to figure it out to use in the future and EA dont seem to realize they are killing more than coin selling...man that was way too long.
its not like you will ever be able to get any good cards... you get fuckin 400 a game. Dumbass
I'm a youtuber and I was going to make a something called road to ronaldo but I would have to buy coins and I can't do that anymore because this is dumb I'm not going to pack ronaldo I will have to spend thousands of dollars and that's stupid to me and that make me just not want to play fifa anymore
Congrats on 500k, Spencer my man!
This video cements you as the top Fifa CZcams channel in my opinion, Honest, upfront no backhand comments, top quality videos. This is how all channels should be run!
Don't lie spence c'mon!! You Haven't seriously packed all the players in once and lions WOF etc...
Not saying u abuse coin buying but admit you must have bought some.
He packed inform Ronaldo he's bound to have a couple mil on other accounts
Packed good players
Sold them
Bought the players that he needed
He probably did pack at least one though
Spencer FC You said you never got free players from EA but you do, don't you
Sophie Beaumont Now i do yes..since last week. I've streamed and tweeted about it multiple times. When I said I didn't, I didn't. I have no reason to lie. I'm not hiding anything. I play by the rules!
I play legit fifa noo coins noo points but I will never ever be able to buy a player like ronaldo or messi
If you play FIFA legit the chances of you getting Ronaldo and Messi are still minuscule. Good luck though!
That is what is sed if hè is 5mill you just can buy him and the pack luck ...pack shit of ea is realy good .....
i trade and have millions so don't complain , dont expect to buy Ronaldo with coins generated from playing matches ..you have to invest in players at a certain time that have potential to grow ..etc the game was fun for me like it was ..don't know in the future how it will be but i will adapt.
I love the way that Spencer is wearing an NFL T Shirt when talking about FIFA!! LOL
Well said, I support you on your point. By the way I love your vids, one of my favourite youtubers 😃
Spencer have you ever had a meeting with the creators of Fifa. I have a few ideas for fifa 16 for the offline perspective.
- Kit Editors
- Stadium Editors
- on career mode there should be a social media feature like in the NBA games
- Cutscenes such as manager team talks , press conferences or even transfer negotiations .
- Balon Dor Awards
Like if you feel Fifa haven't done nothing special to improve fifa 14 . Fifa 15 is too simplistic compared to other sport games.
Bang on Spence. Top video.
Congrats on half a mil subs !
No wagers
No coin sellers
No trading
Less CZcams content
And need for rip off fifa points!
This is definitely #RIPFut!
Recently I've opened around 5-6 million coins worth of packs which is around 666-800 packs, that would cost 99,900-120,000 fifa points which is approximately £665.90-799.90 (I've probably payed around £10 because of the low price of coins sellers).
During this pack opening I've had a few IFs (around 7, 5 of which were IF Dost aka 10k discard and the other two also discard), Courtois and Sergio Ramos. That would mean in almost £800 I would have made around 600k maximum! That's absolutely shocking! That's the reason people buy coins! EA are blind!
I personally want to create my ULTIMATE team, not some team around some quick Colombian I've never seen play because he's cheap and overpowered and I can afford him after discarding Dost!
The reason we buy coins is because we want to use the players they put into the game like TOTYs! This year was the first year I've been able to try a TOTY forward and midfielder because of coin sellers!
The point behind packs is to get players to sell for coins to buy better players. In other words:
Coins for money
Coins sellers do the exact same thing for cheaper! It's the difference between a £1 shop and Tesco or Walmart or whatever. You can get a certain product for £1 or £3, you'll take the cheaper option!
EA would make 10x as much money if packs were better or cheaper as more would feel like it is worth it!
Basically, the game is very much based around pay to win, only those who use coin sellers are wanting more for less. We don't want to open packs for endless disappointment and regret of wasting £80, we want to spend an easy £10 and buy Messi!
The reason those players are so expensive is because of the coin sellers
Mate I completely agree I have Toty Ramos and Sif lacazette In my club and I have lost so much money
VRiXTAUK actually they wont, more players on the market means lower pricess
Spence just a question how do you buy those legends in london united??? I know that ea rewards you with the top 3 if every week but with this price cap that should still effect you right??
The free rewards I get are on a different account and untradeable so they have no effect on London United or Wheel Of Futune whatsoever. I buy points and open packs. Simple as that.
Spencer FC So do you just have amazing packluck i still don't understand how you are buying such amazing players if you don't buy coins??
Parth Shah he buys points then opens the packs, if he gets a great pull and he doesn't want to use them then he sells them and that allows him to buy the rest of the players that he wants to use to make his squad's stronger
Teejay Cunningham yah but i mean how often could that happen i mean like my once every month or so, like what if in london united he got to choose 5 players n got all 5 legends how tf does he get that many coins lolol
like he said he's invested thousands in to his CZcams channel to buy the players he needs to make his series work, with all the money he spends he would obviously open the packs and try to sell the players on to make the coins to buy the players he needs, so basically he spends a lot of time of camera making the coins for the series.
Mad respect for you spencer clearly care more about your channel than most youtubers
Agree totally with ya, ppl have had a good run now its time for change to see if it can work.great vid mate n the top utuber for me.
Based off of everything you said in this video I automatically subbed. Absolutely spot on with everything I believe in.
Spencer, you are the best fifa youtuber out there, and i dont care what anybody says. even if the gameplay wasnt good (it is good) your commentary and opinions is the best of the community. you have the best ideas of the fifa community and one of the only people that can actually make entertaining videos without opening packs or doing wagers. you deserve evry subscriber you have and you deserve more! keep doing what you doing spen, cos ur doing it right!
You've hit the nail on the head with this spence, refreshing to hear someone with an unbiased opinion on this situation.
If they were to rise the coinage you receive when you win / draw or lose then they wouldn't have half as much hate as they do now. I read a meme the other day stating that Ronaldo now (if you wish to get him legitimately) would cost someone approximately £40,000 +/- £10,000 in real money and that is just ridiculous. Even if they lowered the price of the players down to 1,000,000 coins it's still way, way too much. Let people win 10,000 coins for a tournament, 20,000 for the higher divisions; 800 coins for a loss, 1600 for a draw and 2,500 for a win and it may, just may be far more fair and I believe that in that situation, people wouldn't really need to buy coins because they know that they have at least a chance of getting players if players were limited to a maximum of 1,500,000 coins
How does Spen do London United without buying coins?
Jay Dhiru But he's gonna need to open a whole load of packs to get those legends
99BEastwood - Minecraft Hunger Games And More! Because he doesn't promote coins he gets 3 players of his choice from the current TOTW, so e.g. IF Robben who will sell for a great deal - he can then use that money for the series. (I think).
The players they get are untradeable
Hugh wizzy said it was when he got his tif messi
Spencer you are one of the wisest CZcamsrs
This just shows how much spencer is devoted to his channel and subscribers! Keep up the good content!
Some good points here, really changed my onlook on the whole thing
I honestly don't care about the price ranges but what I care about is how many coins i get per match which is way too low for the price of packs. I get around 500 coins per game(if not less), so it takes me on average 15 matches to buy one 7.5k pack!!
Hopefully in fifa 16 the prices will be more like fifa 11/12 I remember packing IF pepe in fifa 12 and getting 98k for him and feeling like bill gates where as now if I have less than 500k I feel like a peasant
One thing I don't understand is why they feel the need to introduce a minimum price. It's not like people are going to purposely sell a player for less than it's worth..
Watched this vid quiet late, but it is by far the best concerning the price range issue. Very interresting points of view without getting rude towards any side. Thanks for that! Greetings from Germany
"EA Sports does shit !" -> Then stop playing Fifa 15...
"Fifa points are too expensive !" -> Then don't buy them...
"The servers are shit !" -> Then stop playing online and start a career mode...
You'll see, if you leave Ultimate Team, EA Sports will eventually start fixing all this stuff. So stop being hypocritical and just switch off your game...
(Sorry if my English is bad, btw)
You're stupid, if we buy a game and it says it has online features, why not use them? If you are buying a game you expect it to be good. not with this laggy shit servers. Right now, if you have no coins on FUT it's totally shit. So decreasing the fifa points price will stimulate the community to buy fifa points more often.
If you keep complaining about the servers situation, about the shitty lag, about the price ranges, about the Fifa points prices, and you still play FUT, you must be a kind of hypoctritical guy !
Seriously, I just don't see the point of playing a video game when you always mention it as a bad game
The fact is that FUT 15 is totally broken, I'm just waiting for Fifa 16
Ofcourse people complain about the price ranges. If someone bought a player for 500k just before the price ranges, the next day he wants to tell him, but for 300k. Please tell me, is that fair?
DWE DWE It is totally unfair, I agree.
Now please tell me, do you want it to change ? If EA clearly see that fewer people play FUT (probably their biggest source of income), things will change.
But if you want to continue playing FUT and open loads of packs with Fifa Points even though it sucks, you shouldn't start complaining about the fact that nothing is changing.
Don't forget that EA Sports is a big company, all they care about is money...
People we can still trade, I made around 200k today. And EA made that change because of you people who buy coins, buying coins is against terms of service.(don't say that I like EA or something, I know that they are money grabbers but this time they made the right decision)
I don't agree they just want more money. They have ruined trading. They are controlling the game. There will no longer be market crashes or the trill of trading. Its all fixed now, well expect all the bugs and fucked servers they don't care about fixing. They just want money. Fares Ibrahim 3mmo0or1
Great video Spencer explained it very well
spencers view on absolutely everything is just so logical and good, keep it up
Spencer, you are the ONLY Fifa CZcamsR that actually has any credibility left. Don't go changing.
Not sure about your theory why you think Ronaldo is still 15 mil. Because Roberto Carlos is now worth 3 mil instead of 9 mil..
Spencer FC He will probably go for the same amount he was going before. People who have Carlos probably dont even want to sell him anymore because of that price change.
congrats on 500k spenc now 1 mill
For ultimate team games back in Fifa 10 it was all about starting from scratch with a bronze team and gaining a connection with those players who you'd play with for weeks until you could build it up and gradually improve your team. Coin sellers took this away from the original meaning of ultimate team and prevented the use of most bronze players as it was much easier to buy coins to buy the best players immediately rather than risk £20-£40 on msp to buy packs to get absolutely nothing in the packs. To me that was what UT was about and not about the best teams in the game but the quality of finding a bronze who'd score a hatrick every game without a doubt, and I hope this comes back.
But Spencer, If u don't buy coins for your series like London United then how are you going to buy the Legends xD
Now we list our consumables for coins!
This is the only unbiased honest opinion ive seen on youtube because here we have someone who doesn't exploit the game to line their own pockets. Legend :)
Honestly, the most level-headed, non-biased, understandable and educated FIFA youtuber around. Well done Spencer!
EA should scrap fifa points and just have the option to buy coins through fifa
Thats what i was saying if they sell coins cheap. They would get more money then ever
bananabandit As far as I know I don't know of any coin sellers that are giving all their coins away. It's EA's game, they should be the only ones making money of it. I don't know how many player cards there are in FUT (I have 1200 in my club) but I can play 20 games in a row and I will come up against maybe 50 different payers. that's about half the players that I use in those same 20 games.
I got around 400. I can now buy players like aguero, ribery, neymar, ex. For me its only positive. Also bronze and silvers will get some awesome prices. Abate 30 k!
Spence is incredible. Very well thought out.
First reaction that I've seen on CZcams thats 'neutral' and not fueled with rage great point beeing said here...but will see in the future if EA going to improve the game
Love your videos Spencer, huge fan! If you ever want a ticket to see a game at Celtic Park on a European Night give me a dm and i can get it sorted. Might get slate for this cause its Celtic but honestly there is very few atmosphere's that can match it anywhere in the world.
Messi said: “I’ve been fortunate to play in some great stadiums in Europe with Barcelona but none compare to Celtic. The atmosphere their fans create make it a very special European night of football."
"Every professional footballer should seek to play at least one game at Celtic Park. I have never felt anything like it."
Paolo Maldini
"I have never played in such an atmosphere..."
Liverpool striker Michael Owen after Celtic 1-1 Liverpool (2003)
You've never been to Wembley on cup final day. Better atmosphere than Celtic park any day
I can't say I have, and don't get me wrong you seem to get a great atmosphere but Wembley beats any other atmosphere I have seen in the world
spencers the best youtber
congrats on 500k subs!
huge respect for you spencer. everything you said in this video was spot on. just wish the rest of the community understand your point of view
Congrats on 500k m8
I totally agree with all your points man! Although I can understand both the perspective of a coin buyer and the regular FUT player I think it's about time EA did something like this. ALSO - i think if this is going to work, they need to change two key things:
1. The amount of coins earned per match
2. The success rate in getting the really good rare players most people want (not necessarily just Ronaldo and Messi, players like Bale, Sergio Ramos, Reus etc.)
Great vid man, keep it up!
No More Twitch Give aways :(
WHY EA
If EA are going to put a price range on players then if I buy a 50k pack then the least I should get back is 50k seeing as 1). Thats how much i've spent and 2).there could potentially be a legend or a highly rated player worth millions in the pack, so effectively I should get back between 50k-15 million depending on who I get in a pack therefore killing the Fifa coin market themselves. If I get Messi worth 13 million then I should be offered 9-13 million coin value not the 12,000 EA decide he's worth resale value. This should have been done in Fifa 16 not halfway through a games cycle, it's typical EA bullshit and the money they've had out of us over the years should have been put into giving us a better online experience.
If you open a 50k pack with coins and got at least 50k profit every time, money would constantly increase, and the way to make money would be to continuously by packs, get the money back, by again, maybe get one thing lucky, and fut would explode and die . Your argument is invalid
Not profit, if I spend 50k then I should get at the very least 50k back...its EA's argument that's invalid. They'll give me 12,000 coins for Messi but they value him at 5 million at the least on the market ? EA have created this circus so they have to now change the rules for the paying public.
Why should you get the same amount back that you paid for the pack that is ridiculous. What benefit would that have to the market? It would just cause a hyper inflation. So if I open 10 50k packs it guarantees me 500k lol don't make me laugh.
Well how else are you going to afford paying 1 million coins on a player ? If you spend 500k on packs you'll now have to have put some serious game time in to have earned 500k or spend at least £50 in Fifa points...its not rocket science is it ? EA have now made it extremely tough to buy good players.
***** But people can still get that unfair advantage by buying fifa points, the 2 differences are they aren't as good value as buying from a coin seller was and now EA get all the money like they wanted
Well done on 500k subs!
Really good explanation and I agree. Such a good youtuber
I feel that coin selling can still be possible. Will they put price ranges on contracts? If not then people will put up contracts for a million coins and coin sellers will buy them/
I completely agree with Spencer, this is someone who is not a complete mug, he actually knows how businesses work. I think it is very Mark of him, not buying or promoting FIFA coins. He is easily the best Fifa CZcamsr, deserves a lot more subs. Keep up the good work Spence!
Thank you a lot for this video Spencer. This is exactly my reaction to this situation. Personally I've bought coins, maybe 500k, to open packs, yes packs, during TOTY. I like the excitement of opening packs even though I almost never get anyone good. I really enjoy this change by EA because I can finally afford the big name players by playing games. You might be thinking, "But Messi is price ranged at 5 to 7.5 mil, how can you afford him?". Well I'm not talking about affording him in FIFA 15, that was and will be impossible for me without buying coins (which I don't do to buy players). The market was and will be a mess in FIFA 15, with the millions and millions of coins put in to the game by coin sellers and coin buyers. The same would of happened with the upcoming FIFA 16 market if it wasn't for this change. I believe that, in FIFA 16, when everyone starts fresh with no coins we will see a much more enjoyable game for the average user, and maybe finally everyone. Note that in FIFA 16 I'm 99 % sure that the price ranges will be a lot lower than they are now, for obvious reasons. It will be very difficult to reach Ronaldo's or Messi's price range of maybe 1 or 2 mil. But you have to remember it's supposed to be difficult to get the best players in the game.
FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM --> DESTROYED
***** I agree, now we will be able to play ultimate team the way it was meant to be, starting from the bottom and rising to division 1. No more overpowered and high priced teams. Only the best will succeed and packing good players will actually mean something
G3RRYxC yes, that is so true. i stopped playing fifa for this exact reason as the only way i was able to buy top top players was either but points or coins and i hope that if these changes stay that in fifa 16 i can start playing again and earn my way to the top just like in fifa 10 and 11
Well, this is actually good. Coin selling made way too much inflation, and made it practically impossible for non-coin buyers to get good players.
When is the web app market going to come back
Go to the ea contact chat thing.. They say "soon" and give u a free pack (its only 5k pack tho)
I hope it does so i can make money by trading whilst not having to have my device on
Hear Hear Spencer, Great explanation. Avid fan of your content. Keep up the great work :)
where did you get that new york giants top?/
It's obvious why they have done it, they want more money. Simple.
no...no EA just whant us to give them more money
no they don't the market was complete fucked and won't ever recover to what it was in fifa 13 or earlier
How do u buy the legends on London united
Youve reached half a million subs congrat
To those of you saying that doing it now has ruined the game...that may be true but it isn't EA who have ruined it, it is coin sellers and people buying them. EA went pretty heavy on the anti-coin industry PR at the launch of Fifa 15. Was pretty obvious they were planning to crackdown at some point and hence anyone buying coins has not only risked their money but also been a part of the problem. The real losers here are people that only have a few pounds to buy the odd pack and will never be able to afford one of the best players unless they get ridiculously lucky. The fact that the value of Ronaldo and co are so high is a direct result of super-inflation caused by coin selling industry. Hopefully by Fifa 16 it will be back to a manageable level.
Might be true but like you said. They shouldn't have done this mid-game. It's a huge game changer and i didn't buy the game for this. They ruined it. If they don't do anything huge with FIFA 16 like changing career mode or something like that i won't buy it, probably me with alot of others aswell. They really.. REALLY need to patch their next game up and don't come with bullshit features like emotion and broken goalkeeper AI.
Spence, this is one of many reasons why I love you and that you're my favorite CZcamsr. You're one of the only ones who produces quality content every video, and when stuff like this happens in FIFA you don't freak out and yell, "F*CK EA" at a camera for 3 minutes. You're such a level minded guy and not to mention you play the game in a respectable way by not purchasing or advertising coin selling, which is something rare to see out of a FIFA CZcamsr. Just wanted to say thanks Spence for being a quality entertainer who always makes my day better, and please don't ever go changin'!
Nightwolf2350 How the hell have they ruined the game? Literally all they've done is stop people buying coins effectively, yes they've done it too late, but at least they've done it.
I think they have to give you more coins from matches winning tournaments and divisions and also give you better coin boosts in the catalog so instead of giving you 1k for 5 games won't be good enough any more so they should give you 5k every 10games so it's more realistic to get the better players
What about the people who get lucky in packs and want to share their money with their friends what happens then? Or you pack a player in a pack you can't sell and only quick sell for 0 coins what about them people?
