- The gunman who shot Donald Trump researched details of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy just a week before he opened fire. Thomas Matthew Crooks' obsession with Lee Harvey Oswald was revealed in a congressional testimony. FBI Director Christopher Wray also revealed that crooks flew a drone over the rally site two hours before the shooting. Meanwhile, Trump has reportedly agreed to stop holding the massive outdoor rallies that have become a signature of his campaign.
Broad daylight, with witnesses, suspicious behavior and high level security detail was unaware?

Under United States law every former United States President retains the honorific “President”, and is due to receive Secret Service protection commensurate with the threat.
