While doing PRA with minus lens is it good to having 2 lenses in one eye? I have studied " Remove one lens then only put the other minus lens"
Removing 1st lens after placing 2nd lens can be problematic for ill sustain accommodative patient. A patient with normal accommodative response can easily absorb this change of power while placing 2nd lens and removing 1st lens..
Changing of the lens is done in less than 1sec so it won't be any problem.
If you have materials related to that you can share with me: samirsutradhar0@gmail.com

U r reading correct only. Video showing wrong. It's chance to pt may Accomodative spasam
Could u give me any examples of finding overcorrected or undercorrect refraction in subjective refraction?

@@optometry-with-samir thanks, could u tell me using nra and pra test to find refractive over/under correction in myopia or hyperopia?
@@nsr2839 it's already described in the video... Please watch the full video...
What if a patient had LASIK, will this change NRA/PRA?
We do it with correction, LASIK surgery is also a type of correction. If after LASIK patient is emmetropic then we can proceed with the test. If after LASIK patient is having Refractive error then we have to correct leftover refractive error and the proceed with the test.
