My husband I were in Mpls too visiting family. Happy you got to try out Cowboy Jacks cheese curds. It is our favorite when we visit that restaurant. Happy you got to check out the sculpture garden. Too bad it was cold and rainy.

I visited a couple of places you visited in Minessota a few years ago! Loved cheese curds, Jucy Lucy and Minnesotta chicken wild rice soup. Found cheese curds at Ralphs in CA but it wasn’t that good… Thank you for another fun video. 30 min flew fast.

It looks like I missed a few places on my quick trip to Minneapolis a year ago. The Sculpture Garden is very nice.

Awesome! I live next door in South Dakota and usually drive the 6 hours to Minneapolis for concerts, the mall, the food. Minneapolis or Denver are like the closest places to me that have chic-fil-a or chipotle 🤣
Cheese curds should squeak when you bite them if they're fresh. They are usually white cheddar cheese. I lived in Madison, WI most of my adult life and my sister lives in Northfield, MN. I love the Midwest in early fall. See if there is an apple orchard or pumpkin patch close by to visit. Fresh apple cider, apple or pumpkin donuts, yum! Have fun! My MIL in Madison has turkeys in her yard. My nephew was the sous chef at The St. Paul Grill, delicious!
Yes, cheese curds have that 'squeak'! We said, rubbery in a good way, but 'squeak' is a better description. lol
