IMO Lando’s wave was likely a ‘thank you’ and nothing more. He knows things can get messy when instructions are given to pass teammate, i.e. Bottas and Hamilton last week, and appreciated Ricciardo being civil.
Lando outlapped Ricciardo. It was not a team instruction and as commentators said, "It is an Ouch moment" for Dan

Highlight of the race was laughing at Serena William’s trying to wave a flag. You’d think she could master a one handed flag wave in seconds but instead opted for hitting the flag with a two handed back hander.
That was such a joke and embarrassment. They showed enough of her during the race and she gets to wave the checkered flag?!
And next year she takes Valtteri's seat, for the first "proper" team in F1

@@stratman9449 well...... it's strange how LH opponents (even teammates) have strange problems:
- In 2020 every time LH would be penalized or his car damaged, Verstappen would also have problems with his car
- In Silverstone 2020, when Verstappen should have won, they called him for a tire change in the last lap, and LH won the race
- When young Russell was given LH's car, his own team had to slow him down, not once but TWICE, otherwise Russell would have won
- When LH makes a mistake and spins out, either Bottas or someone from Williams crash, so that Safety Car is deployed to compress the queue
- But if LH leads the race, and something bad happens on the track, they usually deploy Virtual Safety Car, which preserves the distance between cars
- And finally, even Bottas is not allowed to come close to LH in the number of points, so that it wouldn't look like Mercedes is a superior car

He was correct though. It was a miscalculation by the team to pit when they did. There is no way to overtake on this track, so pit strategy is all you get.

@@audioamateur no its not.the track broadcasts the live feeds from all cameras to the directors of each station, who then decide what to show. Many tv stations share the same stream but not all from different countries so thats why it varies

I can kind of understand the frustration from Hamilton on the radio with all the adrenaline surging through his body, but after the race during interviews he was still salty AF. Mercedes has made a car for him that allowed him to get 6 world titles, four of them were quite easy. Too many times when he's not in front, he'll start complaining and blaming the team.
So. Not. True. ... I mean, come on man. What world are you living in? He's one of the best athletes the world has ever seen, and you expect him to not push his team? Apart from Toto he's the leader, and he is ALWAYS inclusive of his team in victories, and owns up to his own mistakes, when he on occasion makes them. I am NOT a Hamilton fan, but I can recognize what constitutes a leader, and what doesn't.
I don't like the man but I never understand people who think he should never say anything negative. They overruled his decision and made him pit when his tires were fine and he asked them why was he saving tires if he was going to pit. And we have seen him be cheerful and not whiny when he fights from the back this year and last year. I think it is fair to criticize your team's decisions when they overrule you and fail. He should not be held to standards that others are not held to, he has the right to criticize.
To be fair he gives them credit when he wins too
Just look at bottas. He had a worse day and he could have blamed the team. But instead he handled the situation like a professional.

Lando Norris is doing so amazing especially for someone who is in his third year. He really reminds me of Max from that standpoint.

You are almost right. The only wrong thing ist leclerc didn't have bad luck, he damaged the car in his crash yesterday and today the driveshaft failed, it's not bad luck when it's you own fault. But I'm not saying he crashed on purpose it was clearly a racing incident.

@@23236638 ok every driver makes mistake Hamilton made in Imola verstappen made in Bahrain when he overtook on the outside . I would say this is his first mistake in 5 races compared to 2019 and 2020 his mistakes have come down especially when it happened in emotionally charging home Grand Prix I am sure in Baku ( next race) he will be more cautious and try to come back and get a best possible top5 finish . Usually he qualifies p4 and I am sure this year his mistakes will be lesser than previous seasons

@@OMGitsPARAJ after everyone ahead of him decided to pit, he didn’t.. he used up the clear air ahead to push enough to build a gap which allowed him to gain on three people after his stop. The decision to pit later than others was the strategy. Gasly reacted to Hamilton’s stop to avoid the undercut. Hamilton being held up by Gasly after his stop gave Vettel some clear air and a chance to pass both of them after his stop. Perez used all this to his advantage.
