  • I arrived from Tibet at the age of 8. School days often found me longing for home, seeking solace beneath blankets, yearning for my family. TCV Gopalpur became my sanctuary, offering vital moral and emotional support. For children like me, such care is paramount-the school became my surrogate parent for nearly a decade.
Later, I delved into the hospitality industry, dedicating 6 years to hotels like Oberoi New Delhi and Pullman Novotel. Persistence and hard work proved invaluable-I earned timely promotions and commendations. At Pullman Novotel New Delhi Aerocity, I served as a new-generation leader, an assistant manager in food and beverage service for 470 rooms. Self-motivated, I approach all situations with positivity.
Navigating India solo was challenging, especially in starting a small business with limited savings. Grateful for friends' and an uncle's support, I now run JLO’s Juice Corner, an organic juice bar in Majnukatilla, fondly known as the Tibetan colony in Old Delhi.
Youth shouldn't bemoan life's challenges; they shape us, fortifying our resilience. I don't claim a million-dollar business or wisdom. I simply share my journey-nothing is insurmountable with a positive outlook, self-belief, and unwavering determination. Embracing self-confidence and positivity is my ethos, propelling me forward.
