Intentional. I too am enjoying this season of slowing down. My work schedule slows, my chores and gardening decrease, the cooler temps allow me to bake and roast things in the oven and enjoy the warmth that it creates in my home. This season is truly a gift from God if people could just learn to lean in to it rather than complain about it, they too would experience the blessing ❤
Intentional! n Psalm 139:14 Always get to me because I thought the special needs in my daughter, after she was born, was my fault. Reading that psalm, I know God has plans for her and whatever I did while pregnant wasn't something I did. She is fearfully and wonderfully made! I know that full well. And since I survived a life of abuse, Psalm 4:8 has always been close to my heart. God bless you! 🙏
I grew up with a sister that had multiple needs…I also lost a son with special needs. I grew up with compassion because of the exposure and led to my career. I believe they are here to teach us to love….truly love, which is not selfish but sacrificial.

Intentional! What a lovely calming video. It is raining here in Michigan and the patter of the raindrops on the Windows is so relaxing. A few lightening strikes and thunder merely remind me of the Lord's power. As I read Isaiah 40 verses 27 thru 31 I am warm and cozy under the shelter of His wings. When the branches are all bare; there is serious lively activity going on in the trunk of the tree and extending to branches to prepare them for putting forth new Buds in the Spring. . .which will soon cover all of the branches with Leaves. . .providing the Birds and Squirrels with a place to scurry around and hide or build a Nest : )

Intentional ❤ I have been a home maker , homeschool teacher, wife, and friend to many for most of my life. In this chapter of life I went to work as a caregiver and it's been difficult trying to balance home an work. Both take a lot out of me at times. My oldest daughter is going to be giving birth any time now to her second an my fourth grandchild. The time the years all seem to fly by. However I am in love with each season of change. I intentionally take time to re evaluate my heart and mind an my landscape. I'm not a religious person however I am a spiritual person an your videos always feel warm when I watch them. I do my deep cleaning in the fall preparing for spending long hours and days indoors. I love looking through seed catalogs and planning what to grow next season in the garden. I have felt the Lord was telling me to come abide with Him but I too contemplated is that just my voice or His. I kept pushing through and now my health is suffering. So now finally, I have to be still and abide. While abiding "intentional" seems to be the word I keep hearing. Intentional with my time, intentional on what I say yes to and intentional with others - on purpose with a purpose. I love how you shared your daily task list. I'm going to try that also.
