    Video Summary:
    Blood takes carbon dioxide from peripheral tissues and releases it at lung for final removal from body. At lungs partial pressure of oxygen is high. This oxygen binds with hemoglobin. It causes release of carbon dioxide and hydrogen ions from hemoglobin. So carbon dioxide removal from blood is facilitated by oxygen. This effect is called Haldane effect. It help release more carbon dioxide at lungs at same partial pressure of carbon dioxide. Without this effect carbon dioxide release at lungs would be half as with the effect. This effect is flip side of Bohr's effect in which oxygen release from hemoglobin is facilitated by carbon dioxide and hydrogen at peripheral sites.

    • @NonstopNeuron
      @NonstopNeuron  Před 3 lety +2

      Currently there is no such plan. But, my prime focus is physiology and pharmacology. Physiology videos would be useful to 12th students too. Also I make videos ranging from superficial detail to in depth concepts. So again superficial videos can be useful to 12th students. But yes, decades later when all the subjects of medical field are done I have this idea of going into biology too..... God I want to animate everything....!
