i do not see the app password anymore...did google take that option ?
In case your interface isnt the same for finding the "App Password" option, it should be inside of the "2-Step Verification" tab. This was my situation. Otherwise, everything works perfectly! Thank you! :)

I am at the part of creating an app password however there is no option to create one under 2 step verification like you have? does anyone know what the new option to do this is now?
Edit: I figured it out as of may 27/23 you need to click on 2 step verification then scroll to the bottem of the page and there you can follow the process of the app password. Hope this helps

It sounds great, I am one man show, so if this works, it will be great! However, I am not getting notification in my personal Gmail. I used this Gmail mainly for business and it is the same that I used to purchase the Google domain. Any ideas if the delay is typical, or what could be the reason for not working for me. Thanks!
can you advice when i tried to get ad d another email address and when tried to put user name and pass it keep telling me Authentication failed. Please check your username/password. even i turn off my 2-Step Verification same login and pass i used with another browser sign in that email and pass correct nothing wrong but when i add another email address keep giving me error thank you for your respond

hi, I think the part of 2 verification changed I do not have the option anymore of App Password and I cannot get to the part to put Gmail and get the password that the system generate that you have to copy to paste (Min 3:44 of the video) please help I m stock

Every step went smooth for me except configuring gmail to send from the new business email.

Create a new business account/new personal first. This way you can separate your personal emails from your business ones.

You're sending this from a different address or alias using the 'Send mail as' feature. The settings for your 'Send mail as' account are misconfigured or out of date. Check those settings and try resending.
i want to send emails from python script will this work?? like in that i add my username and app passwords only so any idea will it work or i need to buy professional email??
I have not tried that way. Since this method is free, best to try it.

Hello, everything in the video works for me, but when I try to email my newly created email address from my yahoo account (as a test), I get an auto message stating the new email address doesn't exist. I can even email the Yahoo account from my new email, but I cannot receive emails from my Yahoo account. Help please.

I tried searching for a solution as well, but I dont think that's possible. Not sure if that will change in the future.
@@StuffedBox Thanks for the reply! I actually just found a workaround. Go to your personal info under google account then under contact info add all the alias email addresses under "alternate emails". I just tested it and the profile picture translates to all those emails!

This solution worked for me but then my alias email stop recieving due to mx google rejecting my message(it says my address does not exsist, but clearly it does and did), i have created an entirly new email and still i recieve nothing. Sometimes, Gmail marks email as spam incorrectly. Mark it as not spam, so it helps Gmail learn that it's not.

Check your spam inbox, it might be there. Mark it as not spam so Gmail learns that it's not a spam.

Hi this was really helpful. Thanks! I followed your instructions and it was working well but not on all emails. I have some emails sent to my customers that didn't reach them. I have researched and found that I need to turn on DKIM & SPF to avoid it from happening. But it seems, it only applies to a paid Google Workpace Gmail. Do you have a workaround this? Or do you recommend going for the paid plan? This is just a one-person business and I don't really need other apps. I just need to send customer support emails. I hope you can help me. 😢
It is probably reaching them but might be going to their spam folder. DKIM and SPF would be for paid Google workspace. It might be time to get the paid version, which is $7.20 per month.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I had been looking for a way to send from my business email address Ihad delayed responding to emails because I didn't want to use my personal email account. I did get lost several times because my screen didn't look like yours in some of the instructions, and because you went very fast. I ended up following along and pausing to do the next steps, and am thankful that everything worked out perfectly!
I have a question that you might be able to answer. I have two domains, one through Google Domains and the other through another provider. The Google Domains email address is the one I used with your tutorial. My question to you - is there a way to use my non-Google Domain to create a free email address that I can then use through Gmail? Note that I have no employees, so I only need one email address.
