- Non Toxic Hair Dye at Home | How to Dye Grey Hair | MINIMAL WASTE!
Ok, so I don't have a ton of grey hair. If you are getting your first grey hair, this video is for you! I didn't want to use lots of chemicals or color ALL my hair. Here is my at home, non-toxic hair dye solution to get rid of greys cheaply and effectively. I found a natural hair dye that should be safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding. Watch to learn my tricks!
Have you tried non toxic hair dye before? Was this video helpful to you? Let me know below :)
The first time I dyed my hair I went for Rodolphe & CO products because they use non toxic natural organic ingredients. It was really easy for home use and I got all my grey hairs covered in one try. I filmed that experience and put it on my channel. Thank you for taking us along on your adventure it was fun to watch.
Ah that is awesome! It’s a relief to know that non toxic dyes can work just as well.
Oh , awesome. It's nice to know there is some dyes that are non toxic. I too discovered some gray hair when I was pregnant.
I love that your method was non toxic and affordable
No, you need to just do your whole head. Then you can use just half or a quarter to upkeep your roots once a month. Leave it on for longer and use a comb and brush to help apply it
Love it! Will be using this when I next cover my greys. Thanks for sharing!
Love this, finding natural and ecological alternatives is so hard. Thank you!
Love that it’s non- toxic
i love how you focused on minimal waste as well! thank you
Thanks! Yes, seems like such a waste to use a tiny amount of those plastic bottles and throw them out :)
I would love to have this natural hair dye. Thanks for sharing!
What a great idea to just mix a bit of colour so there is minimal waste, also love that there are non toxic dies available. Cheers!
Yes! The manufacturers make you feel like you have to use the entire bottle, but you really don't have to! Although it's not a 100% natural product I think it is way better than regular hair dyes at least and works well so it is a good compromise. :) Thank you for watching and commenting!
Love your non-toxic hair dye! thank you for sharing.
I love learning about new ways that are non toxic! I have never dyed my hair before but when I do! this will be my go to video!
Thank you Alyssa 😎
Thank you for sharing your tips for dealing with greys 💛👍
I use that same brand, same color! I love it!
This looks so natural and pretty easy! Thanks for the tips
😃 glad you found it useful!
Mine is the same as you very little grey it’s actually white , so worse against the black .
Most of mine is around the ears with a few longer strands as you have shown on this video .
I use Natural red Moroccan henna and I apply it all over (i thought I’d miss hair if I did sections ) I like the red tint on my black hair it can only be seen in the sun. On my white hair it’s either vibrant red or a almost blondish red. It mixes in nicely with the rest of my hair, looks like highlights
But I’ve been doing this almost 5 years now and I don’t think I will reach 30 or 40% Because I am fed up.
My sibligns and cousins see me once a year and I don’t care what they think no one else sees it because I wear a headscarf 😉. But even if I didn’t im tired of wasting time and money doing this . I’ve decided to have a nice short hair cut and quit the dying . That would
Make me happier
Wow I love encountering such great products to lessen waste and toxicity! Really gave good results as well :)
Thank you! Yes, the less toxic version works then might as well go with that and use only what you need :)
This was great, I don't like the idea of toxic hair dye even when I'm not pregnant but I didn't realise you could get natural ones. I have a few greys starting to show so it might nearly be time for me to start dying
Yep, didn’t realize it either. I assumed all the natural stuff wouldn’t really work, but they are worth a shot :)
Congratulations for your pregnancy 💖 love this video 💖
Thank you Julia 🤗
Did this wash out quickly?
Yes, took about a month for the color to go away
I want to buy this color but not available in India
Oh too bad! Maybe you can try ordering from Amazon.com and pay for shipping to India if it is not too expensive…
I use henna powder which is 100% natural, the one you are using still need chemical.
Glad it works for you. I read of a few downsides of henna that makes me hesitant to try it. There are pros and cons to every hair dying solution for sure. askcorran.com/a-guide-to-henna-hair-dye-application-some-pros-and-cons/
I would suggest you look into fast hair growth fortified shampoo.
I'm allergic to that
That dye is not non toxic.
