I own this rifle. It is excellent in quality and performance. I really would recommend them. Note: The gearbox is somewhat proprietary and it will not accept all v2 options like the Gate Aster there is no window for the selector plate
Hiya, thanks for this, I found the same when doing the disassembly. I was a little disappointed to find that, but a normal wired mosfet is still a possibility (if people wanted one) but then it works so nice out of the box, almost feels a shame to want to mosfet it. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft I was trying to use a DMR tape selection and increase the trigger response a bit.
The Perun AB++ Was an excellent option for me and just adds variety and customization to the firing patterns. But I do agree out of the box this gun needs very little done to it if anything at all

Great video and detailed product review. The only thing I would have liked to see (and looking for currently) would be a lil more on the distance/accuracy/precision aspect. Like seeing groupings at different distances or even just groupings at your 45m mark you had out there. Currently looking for something that gives solid groupings at 45-50m for more realistic shot placement vs having to lob bb's or "wanted" style shots on the field and target practice. Keep up the great work though.

I have this gun for like a half year now its the best gun i had, i did as well look inside and its 100% what is promised. I liked this gun so much i bought another one, the short cqb pdw version and is super good too. Full metal body, steel parts inside, good quality wiring, microswitch for trigger. For this Price.. it really seems to good to be true but damn this gun is a beast. I easly outshot guys with this stock. 11v lipo battery, 0,28g bbs and everyone Will be scared by your rate of fire and unreal accuraccy.

@@xander5301 This specific one had tamiya but the another has dean T i think the pdws are bit newer so they started putting dean t there
If using an 11.1, it might tend to double tap on semi-auto, but here we have a 330 fps limit so spring is weaker.
Hello! THis was based on UK limits of 350, so I would expect very similar issues with an 11.1v. I have found that running them on an 7.4v is more than enough though and they run lovely with no issues at all! Pheas

@@Mastemine498 Hello! They are built with an 11.1v lipo in mind so they are VERY well built. So 11.1v would give you a little snappier shooting out of it, Range is not altered by battery types. Pheas
Have you done a review on the 10" arcturus models? What's the difference between them and this one?
To change the spring, does the gearbox have to be dissasembled from the receiver?

Hello, just the stock needs to come off the back, then there is a flat head screw to access, made easier if you unscrew the buffer tube, but doable with the buffer tube still on. The buffer tube is a gas type one, its not secured by a bolt like a traditional AEG buffer, it actually screws into the back of the lower. Pheas

Not gonna lie this does shoot over 45 meters mine I got is an absolute beast and it’s the shorter version. I love mine and recommend this gun to anyone who wants there first full metal aeg. #arcturus killing it

Hi! I'm sure you're asked this a lot but you obviously are very experienced. I am trying to decide on an AEG M4 as my first gun and am stuck between several.
If you had to recommend one (or a few if you are absolutely torn) for a price range of £100-200, which would it be?

@@craigthegymrat Didn't actually end up getting one but it was between the Arctus Lite AR15 AT-NY03 and the Double Eagle M904E and I was going to go for the Arctus.
Just checked and the Arctus is now off Taiwangun and it was a lot cheaper on there but they only had it in black and I didn't have a Ukara. There is the Arctus Lite and the AT-AR01 which is the same but a full metal body rather than plastic I believe.
@@Milo1267 hi, if i can recommend, i own both nylon and metal version, and i must say the metal one is worth the money, not that the nylon is not qualite enough, but the metal one is one class above, also dont go for double eagle, its very lightweight and in comaprison to arcturus it feels like toygun when arcturus almost like real steel

Hiya! glad like you liked the video. Thats a tough choice in those two guns. If it was my choice, my money to spend.... The M904H as the mosfet is excellent quality and has the most common features people want, the general build quality of both is exceptional, but the gearbox is TM spec in the M904 so other trigger block mosfets are an easy install, where as the arcturus is off spec, with a microswitch, so makes it harder for mosfets etc. Either would be an excellent excellent choice though! I just ordered this but I got the -02 version it was $50 more expensive but Im not sure why. I got it r-hoped and a stronger spring should be 450 fps,do you think the stock motor can handle 450 fps or should I upgrade?
Hello! I would have thought it should be fine, at least go get started, but I would consider getting an uprated one (if you have the budget, the warhead brushless are outstanding) as it will keep the shots sharp like you would want. Pheas

Hello! I would go for an 11.1v lipo in the stock tube, you are likely to need a couple of them to last a full day though. Something like this sort of size: www.componentshop.co.uk/11-1v-1000mah-20c-continuous-discharge-airsoft-lipo-battery.html Alternatively you could replace the stock with a crane stock to get a bigger capacity battery in it, or go full solid stock (m16 style) and then you can run an ENOURMOUS 11.1v lipo in it. Hello! You could add one of the wired ones like the AB++ but not the ones that replace the trigger contacts as they are"off spec" and have used a microswitch, BUt you can add a solder in one. Pheas

I know this video was made a while ago, but does anybody know what kind of Joule values we would be looking at with this gun stock on 0.20g and 0.25 ammo?
I'm thinking of getting it and I don't want to be over my sites limit of 1.14 Joules.

Hiya, if you are in the UK, then its your retailers job to make sure it is below the UK FPS limits, which will be below that Joules limit. The joules will be the same regardless of ammo weight (provided the chrono is set of it to do the calc correctly). From the factory, they are typically 400fps on 0.2g bb. Pheas
i am planning on getting this rifle for Christmas, i am just getting into airsoft i have a cyma cm0.07 and is the battery required a stick battery?
Hello! Sorry for the late reply. Yes this gun requires a small stick lipo to sit in the stock, or you could swap the stock to a Crane stock and get a nun-chuck (sometimes called butterfly) battery. Pheas

@@cakespreader Hello! Hmm that is a tough one.. My money I think would go on the arcturus just because the internal build quality (and external in some of the bits) is not amazing and you would end up repairing it a lot. The arcturus on the other hand is built like a tank! Pheas

What battery should i use for this? Nihm would be nicer but it doesn’t matter
Hiya. A nihm would be ok, but possibly under power it in general. They are great in 7.4v and 11.1v lipos for much more snappy response. The main issue you will have with a nihm is getting one to sit in the buffer tube. You will need a stick one, which might need the stock to be stuck out quite far to accommodate. Pheas

@@davidzovok Hello! You can ask as many questions as you want to if it will help you out! From those two options.... My choice would be the Arcturus Lite series M4. You are getting a better quality product with higher availability of parts. The Cyma p90 is a good gun, but p90 high caps are not great, and there are not as many customisable components to get as there is for the M4. Hope that helps! Pheas

Hello! I think it "should" fit, but might be some slight differences in tolerances so might need a bit of modding around the body pins etc. Pheas

Hello! It will laugh in the face of the 11,1v and take it like a champ, very very well made internally and externally! The battery doesn't effect FPS, just rate of fire so even the factory standard of around 400 is spot on for your needs. Pheas

Hello! They don't at the moment due to Brexit related issues with UPS. As soon as UPS sort themselves out then they will be shipping again to the UK, but they have been having SOOO many issues with delivery / customs / parcels coming back to TG instead of being delivered / massive waiting times. PLus most of what I have on the channel was ordered and delivered before brexit or on an order before they stopped delivering again. Pheas
