So I fell for The Rose back in 2019 when I heard She's in the Rain and I was hooked ever since, this band deserves so much recognition because they truly are fantastic! A little less known song they did for a tv show, is called Strangers and it's much heavier in percussion and bass line. Their newest albums lead single was Childhood and Woosung (lead vocalist) and Dojoon (main vocalist and keys) have some beautiful harmonies. So please check them out.
Also as others have said, Woosung's solo work is chefs kiss I just love the color of his voice.

The Rose’s new album “Heal” is lovely. Definitely indie sounding. “She’s in the Rain “ is the song that caught the attention of a lot of kpop fans.
Hey John, thank you for checking out a truly underrated amazing band who've had several crappy deals in the past but kept on shining. Sammy/Woosung in the middle of the 3 vocalists often takes the lead (and his solo projects are brilliant) but they all have great voices. Amongst my favourites are "She's In The Rain" (potentially triggering for some people but I found it when going through something similar and it helped immensely), "Sorry" and their cover of LANY's "ILYSB". They deserve a much wider audience.

I cannot tell you how excited I am that you have started to react to 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚. These guys are phenomenal musicians/singers and also adorable and sweet together - four of the finest guys that deserved so much better from their agency. They are still together. They broke the contract with their agency; they're independent now. They are Woosung, Korean-American, guitarist & vocalist; Dojoon, Korean, keyboardist & vocalist (also acoustic guitar); Hajoon, Korean, drummer (also rapper/sub-vocalist); and Jaehyeong, Korean, bassist (also sub-vocalist). This song is off their new album Heal. Here are the songs I think you should react to and there's a lot. Really everything they've done is a banger, a bop or a beautiful ballad. In addition, there are OST songs Woosung (or by his American name Sammy) has released and they're wonderful as well. The guy's a lyrical genius. His music is different and with that unbelievably unique voice, he rarely, if ever, has a miss.

Red, She's in the Rain, Sorry, Insomnia, the entire Heal album...so many good songs. Woosung is the main vocalist but all of them are good. Woosung has his own solo albums...check those out as well.

I just saw them in New York, They are AWESOME!!!! All of them sing but Wooosung and Dojoon are the main vocalists. All of them, write songs as well. Woosung has solo albums and they are fantastic. I love all of their songs but try Red, Beauty and the beast, Sorry, She is in the rain ILY are great to start with. Check their live performances. Woosung phase me and ILYSB cover and side effects are also worth checking. Enjoy

You should also check Woosung's interactions with fans during his stage performances he is hilarious. Their story of how the band was formed is also interesting. I would start with their debut song Sorry. After that…She’s in The Rain, Red, Beauty and The Beast. Woosung the lead singer is amazing! The dude sings in frickn cursive. Also check out Woosungs solo songs( Face, Lazy, Dimples, Phase Me, etc…) He also collaborated with someone(can’t remember his name) on CWS (California West Side) , Frickn Love This song!!! Omg yas finally your checking them out and I was gonna suggest them too!!! I just saw them in Boston!!!! They are so freaking gorgeous and their music is beautiful Woosungs voice is unreal hes in my top 5 vocalists of all time!! I highly recommend seeing them live they are a total vibe! They are also one of the groups that made me multi fandom! Red, Shes In The Rain, Sorry, Beauty and the Beast are some more songs to check out. Also Woosung has solo songs and theyre so good!! I recommend checking out more of The Rose, they have a certain (beautiful) sound that most of their songs have, but then Woosung has solo stuff that sounds completely different. I recommend She’s in the rain, and beauty and the beast from the rose. And Face from Woosung. They have one other guy that sings other than Woosung, and I know his name, I just can’t remember it right now. 😂

The Rose is one of my favorite Korean bands. My favorite song is Baby because that song live is a whole experience. If you are interested in other Korean bands I would suggest Onewe's Aurora and Lucy's Snooze.
This band is AWESOME!!! I absolutely adore them!!! Their music is really good and beautiful. This song is from their latest album, named heal, and i recommend ANY song from there, they´re all REALLY good and the lyrics are beautiful.
I love The Rose so much, I would highly recommend their live version of She's in the Rain, but there is also a lyric video for it too in case the live gets copyrighted. Also, another good band is Onewe, they're really good, I would suggest listening to Rain To Be by them. There is also Day6 that I would suggest listening to, Sweet Chaos is my favorite. I love your videos, keep up the good work 💜

I fell in love with The Rose with BABY. YT kept recommending this one live performance of it so I gave in one day. I was hooked within seconds. All 4 have great voices but Woosung and Dojoon are the main vocalists. Dojoon is the one who plays keyboard and guitar. Woosung was raised in California and you definitely get the Cali vibe from him especially in his solo music. The group had issues with their first label. While 3 members fulfilled their military requirements, Woosung released solo work and learned how the industry worked. They now have control over themselves. As soon as they were able to regroup they made the album. It’s called HEAL and is beautiful. The first release from it was Childhood and has an MV. I love everything they’ve released but BABY will always be my favorite. Black Rose is probably second but always makes me tear up. It’s hard to pinpoint their sound but it definitely gives off indie something. One of the songs on the new album reminds me a bit of an Indigo Girls song which made my indie loving heart ecstatic 🥀

Oh nice! Not only do I love ONE OK ROCK and BTS, I also love The Rose. Check out their song, "Sorry"! There is an MV for it. I first learned about The Rose by listening to "Sorry" right when it came out, and it still remains to be my most favorite song by them.

If you have to do just one other song from The Rose, then probably She’s in the Rain is their most famous. It’s also the first song from the Rose that I paid actual money for.

Woosung, the middle guy, is the main vocalist. They’re also doing a US tour which I couldn’t go to but everything that they’ve came out with is great so it’s hard to choose which song to start with.
Woosung (the American in the group) was interviewed by (I forget who darn it) which is how I learned about the band. He trained to become an “Idol” but burned out. Luckily the other musicians pushed him to listen to them play which is when his love for music was re-awoken. All of them have battled “the system” to create the music they want to do. You'll get a lot of recommendations for "Sorry," which is great, but I think "Baby" would make a great choice. Musically, it's just such a unique composition and always takes people by surprise.

The Rose is an awesome band. Also check out solo work from the lead singer and leader, Woosung. He put out a solo album when the others were doing military service. He is American from California. Solo hits: Lazy, ILYSB- a cover of I Love You So Bad, Dimples. Other good songs from The Rose: She’s in the Rain, Beauty and the Beast.

The Rose in one in a small handful of bands, other than BTS, that I really love - even without hearing a large portion of their discography. I was really caught by Woosung's very unique voice (the fluttery, soulful falsetto, "dude in the middle"), check him out in "Sorry" and "ILYSB" - I Love You So Bad). I'm glad they've come out of the management complications and strife, and looking forward to much more now that they are free to be their own band. Very glad you checked them out!

N.Flying is more complete as K-Band with production wise more versatile... live stage more hype...and intense..

FTisland is one of the famous so far as a rock band in Asia...they have been around for quite long..
YB is the most oldest rock band by far with some well known song in billboard before..
Guckkasten is a very strong characteristic rock band known for their artistic rock music. Their main vocalist probably the best of the best in kpop industry..(vocally similar to OneOkRock- Taka)

The new album is so good. BUT to do them justice you should check out an older song too. 'She's in the Rain' is iconic. For something more uplifting and fun 'Red'. Or the song that started it all for me, 'Baby'. Other songs not to be missed are 'Sorry', 'Beauty and the Beast', and 'Childhood' (the last two are newer songs, but too good not to mention). Also the live cover of LANY's "ILYSB" is just beautiful. They really are so very talented. Thank you for giving them love!
