Thanks for the tour! I’ll be in a deluxe balcony just like this on the same deck for the 117 Day World Cruise on the Magnifica. Now I know just what to expect for storage, outlets, etc. We set sail Jan. 4th ‘25. So excited!
Oh my gosh! 😃 That is amazing that you are going to get to sail on a world cruise on the Magnifica! How exciting!!!
I’m glad the video was helpful for you in planning how you want to organize the cabin.
Have a wonderful trip! 🛳️
the room looked nice, have a great time
It was! We had a great time! 😎 Thanks. ❤️
I always check the deck plan to see if my cabin is an adjoining, because then you don't get a couch, just a chair. Booked one by accident once and the two of us couldn't sit down at the same time (except for the bed)! I'm interested in this ship. Just got off the Seashore and booked her again for June! 🎉
Ohhh… that is such a great idea! I didn’t realize that there was a difference with the sofa and the chair in terms of the adjoining room. Good advice! We missed the sofa this time. 😕 It sounds like you had a great cruise on the Seashore? We really enjoyed that ship as well. We’re already looking at other MSC cruises too. 😎🛳️
@@weinkeworldadventures we truly enjoyed Seashore! I hope they bring more ships to Canaveral as it's our easiest port to drive to!
I agree! We love Canaveral too, and it is close to us. Here’s hoping for more MSC ships to come there! 💕
Man I wish we lived next to a cruise port. Nearest port to us is Baltimore ughh. Or Brooklyn. Ewe... So we have to pay for flights from Chicago to Miami. $750 @@lorrajulian8622
I know exactly how you feel, Matt! That’s one of the reasons we just moved down to Florida. We were flying down from Minnesota, which was costly, but not as quite as much as what you’re paying. Ouch! 😳
Is the size of the room/balcony what makes this "deluxe" vs a standard balcony cabin?
Hi Cindy, yes, it seems that the deluxe balcony cabins are just a little bit bigger, and we noticed that the dresser and mirror area were larger as well. Otherwise, the room was pretty much the same.
Thats unusual to have no usb.😮. We usually take our own even in hotels.
Yes, it seems that the older ships do not have the USB ports. We have found the taking a power strip with a USB in it is very helpful. They just don’t allow the surge protector types. Is that the kind you use? ❤️
@@weinkeworldadventures I have one of those it has 2 plugs and 2 usb. But I also have a older one that is just 4 usb's and I use an extension cord.
Any recommendations for a specific deck?
It really depends on what you want to be close to, and how much you want to spend on a cabin. In general, I would say decks 9, 10, or 11 would be the safest in terms of noise. On those decks, you just have cabins above and below you. If you get on a deck with a venue below you or above you, it can be rather noisy at times! We were on deck 10, and very happy with that. Deck 11 might be a little easier to climb the stairs to go to the buffet or pools. I hope you have a great cruise! 😎
Do you if it's true that you are not allowed to bring extension cords on board? Thank you. Enjoy!
That is correct. From what I understand, extension cords are not allowed. However, you can bring a power strip as long as it’s not a surge protector type.
We have CPAP machines. I packed just a regular 6-8 foot cord in with my machine (and power cord) and brought it on without problems. It was attached to my power cord and wrapped up together. No surge protector. Just a cord.
That is so helpful to know! Thanks for sharing. ❤️
