    Good job sir, the only things you try to avoid is telling the person asking you are just an electrician, always assumed that either they are trying to tricked you if you know the answer or just explained to them without looking down the person trade level. Sa trabaho bilang HVAC/R we are not allowed to do load calculations because we have our own electricians and that is against the NEC, after the disconnect we do all the sizing of the wirings base on the load calculations. Keep your ego as you are above the level from your students, some questions may be sounds like they are going to challenge your knowledge, the simplest way is we have to answer base on the questions they asked. If it’s just a general question as you said previously then have to answer the general ways. If you can give them more answer more than what they are asking for, its better, but telling you are just an electricians is below the belt. Teachers don’t go down to the student level, stay as educator and not get to be educated. Anyway, your presentations are far more advanced and concise that is the what we wanna see your good presentation sir. From Leyte Philippines.

      ...respect din dapat ng ekectrician sa engineer eh kung pabalahura yung pagtanung ng electrician at minamaliit yung engineer ng sabihin ba mali yung engineer outright eh dapat din sagutin ng pabalahura yung ekectrician na feeling alam ang lahat..

      Pag nasagot naman natin ito ng tama, base sa computation, na mahinahon at walang pag aalipusta, mas masakit na sampal ito sa kanyang mukha ,na mayroon pa pala siyang dapat pag aralan, kaya lang pag natuto ng husto ang electrcianna ito ay higit itong bastos at mayabang.....

Firs time ko kasi mag electrical wiring sa 2 story na bahay.. im not electrician, automotive 2 yrs course lng po ntapos ko!     Sir good evening po. Sana po sa next video nyo ay ituro nyo naman yung tamang computation ng welding machine sa load schedule natin. Hindi po malaman ng mga kasama ko yung tamang rating in terms of watts or amperes ng isang typical na welding machine.

    Sa load compution ang ginagamit ko sa name plate rating ng motor or sa PEC table na 1hp= 8amp., 1.5hp=10amp and 2hp = 12amp + 25% D. F. for single phase and sq. rt. of 3 para sa 3 phase.

    Engr respeto naman po sa electrician. Pati di rin nyo po naipaliwanag ng maigi kung san nanggaling ang 10amps na galing sa PEC. I am talking about behind the scene kung paano nakuha ang 10amps na equivalent sa 1.5Hp accdg sa PEC. Dahil po ba pag start ng motor eh sobrang taas ng current kumpara sa rated current ng motor? Kaya disregard na 4.86Amps na pwede proteksyunan ng 10Amps dahil lagi magtitrip ang breaker at worse case ay sunog sa kable.

    Actually in practice those tables of Motor HP Current Rating are in Phil Electrical Code & others like IEC, BS etch std tables. They are computed according to the ambient temperatures, the effcy, pf, servive factor etch and are in the Namaplate of the motors. I found those values in actual experience true, almost equal to the std tables.

    Comment lang po, dapat kasi sa load schedule ay dapat Volt Amperes (VA) at hindi watts ang ginagamit.. Yang Watts kasi ay kalimitan lang ginagamit if ang mgprepare ng load sked ay mga Architect laang, pero for us REE or Registered Elect'l Engrs. dapat talaga naka VA.

    Sir sa motor meron tayong tinatawag na 100% load 80% load. At no load siguro tama yong 1 hp = 3.2 a. Kapag may load nayan tataas ang ampere. Yong limit na sinasabi sa electrical code ay yong size ng alambre na gagamitin mo kaya yong 8 amp. Na nababanggit dyan ay limit para hindi magastos sa alambre. Ang motor nagbabago ang amp. Depende sa load.

    Good explanation ..however dapat may basis explanation ka kung bakit ang ginamit na reference ay yung naka specify sa PEC ..Yes this is correct for motor load..You should explain why. To understand fully the ampere selection...You should tell the motor load charateristic during starting and at during stable load of the motor ...I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you.

    Sir design computation ba itong ginawa mo, kung hal. gusto kong malaman ang actual consumption ng 1hp w.t. a/c?
    Lalo na ngayon, iba na ang consumption ng inverter a/c., conpare sa conventional a/c dati.

    4.86amper x 2.5 full load current = 12amper for staring current in actual po yan kaya po yung 10amper sa pec tama naman

    Pwede ba Boss na ilagay ang totoong power output ng motor sa load schedule pero ang breaker rating ay yung required ng PEC para alam ng electrician ang size ng wire na iiinstall? Peede rin bang gumamit ng #14 wire mula sa individual convenient outlet na rated 500 watts max load and then connected sa #12 na feeder wire na kinakabitan naman ng 3 pang CO na may same 500 watts max load each na rating.
