I have to say, I really love the design! As someone who has had bad acne since middle school, it really means a lot to see a doll like this. Pride is a unique and wonderful doll, and I can't wait to see her finalized look. I have known about smart dolls for a while now, but only just recently been doing my research. Pride will be my top choice if I do decide to buy one :)
I think Pride is one of the most special Smart Dolls to date. For Danny and his team to design a doll with acne - wow! I love that Smart Doll continues to make dolls that we can all relate to in one way or another. Pride's finalized version has been posted on Danny Choo's Instagram. You will see her with red hair and a smile. I will probably get her as well. Thank you for watching! ♥

Oh yay, I’d wondered who got her! I LOVE this version, I had awful acne as a teen, and her expression perfectly reflects how I felt about it back then. I know that’s not Danny’s intention with these girls, but she just really resonated with me. Thank you for sharing her!
This version of Pride really resonates with me too. I didn't have acne growing up, but I was bullied for other reasons and to see her with the melancholy expression - I was just like I HAVE TO HAVE HER! I hope you enjoy the final version of Pride when she is released for sale.
Huge congratulations on getting prototype Pride, she is amazing, and also congrats on her being your first cinnamon girl. Like you, my favourite skin tone is tea, followed by cocoa. I certainly don't dislike the 2 girls (and 2 boys) I own in cinnamon, but prefer the darker colours. I recently got myself a galactic blue girl as well and she is amazing too 😍 You need to get yourself a blue girl too Kevin 😉
You're right, no one in the whole world is perfect, so that's one of the things I love most about Danny and Smart doll, the dolls are not perfect, and nor should they be. We are all unique, as are the dolls and that is what makes them the most special dolls I have ever owned.
I am sorry to hear you have been bullied, that is so horrible and unfair, hugs. And I agree with everything you have said about recent events in the Smart doll community. I placed an order for another beautiful head, from CJ and left a message of support to Danny and his wonderful team. I am well and truly addicted/committed to Smart doll and I can't see that changing any time soon 💖

That means a lot to me - truly. 🥰😘 For this being my first venture into the cinnamon world, I have to say that it's a pretty nice skin tone. Will it be my first go to for future dolls? No, because like you - I LOVE tea. Tea just really stands out to me and of course the cocoa girls are just scrumptious. 😂 OMG congrats on getting your first blue girl! That's so so exciting! I hope you love her. The blue dolls look really really nice. I've been tempted by a few, but I'm drawn to more realistic tones. That said, the new gray - galactic gray, looks absolutely stunning. I might just have to break my 'rule.' 😂😂 I'm so happy to hear that you will continue loving your dolls and will continue to collect Smart Dolls. I try to steer free of drama if/when I can. Life is too short to surround yourself with negativity. Ya know? I am so happy to have found Smart Doll, as these are the first dolls that I feel a true connection with. I can't ever see myself parting with any of my girls. They're all just too special.

I hope this girl sticks around because I’d love to get her someday. Currently I’m waiting on blue parts to come out first, as blue will be gone later and the cinnamon tea and cocoa aren’t going anywhere.

This mini vacay from work has done wonders for my disposition and mental health. I've been so crazy about trying to prove my worth and with doing so, I burnt myself out. I will try not to do that again.
The new body is very interesting. The more I play with it, the more I favor the body we're used to. Sure it's nice to have a more flexible body, but I'm not a fan of the hollowed out legs and arms. If you do manage to get your hands on one of them, please do a review! 🥰 Thanks for watching my love!! 😍😘

Yeah… working hard is a fine line… you don’t want to dedicate yourself to work so much that you lose yourself in the process. I’m glad you figured out where your limit was. Sometimes it’s hard to see.
I will probably like the older bodies too because I don’t like change… but I am curious about the pose-ability… I think I might get one just to do a review!

I am not sure that I would want a more squishy body that is more difficult to dress. I like the bodies of my current dolls. Plus, I don't need to do that much doll posing.
My thoughts align with yours. The more I play with her, the more it makes me realize that the body we're used to is 'better.' Sure it's great to have a more flexible body, but if this was my first Smart Doll I would be a bit put off by the squishiness of the body.
