I ended up cutting Patchwork + the Evil HERO engine for more hand traps. I found that those engines heavily contributed to my dead hands while also keeping me from seeing non-engine.

I love the way Konami designed Chimera. It's a playable archetype by itself but leaves a lot of room for engines, tech, and handtraps.
Also with the deck revolving around Beast, Illusion, and Fiend types, it's deck design is 'open ended' in the sense that it's potential to power creep itself without it actually getting direct support is unparalleled.
